Add the Outlook for PC facility to print an entire email chain to Outlook for Mac3 votes
It would be nice to be able to create notes within an email for personal use/reminder.
The idea is to have an Icon next to the other Trash, Archive and Flag Icons.
When you click on Notes Icon it pops up and you can make notes or see your notes about that email.1 vote
Spammers change the user name and keep sending junk from the same same domain. To stop spam one needs to block the entire domain. Currently, the process is:
- copy the email address
- go to settings
- go to view more
- go to block sender
Step one is difficult.
The easy solution is to:
From the Junk dropdown menu replace "Block" with:

When I schedule a meeting (series of meeting ) it is difficult to get same meeting room for entire duration (entire series). To add to complexity, when there are participants from multiple location and we need to book a room for each location across the globe it gets more challenging. I want outlook to come up with smart meeting room allocation algorithm to pick up a meeting room from each location whichever are available for the time slot of a meeting. Algorithm could assign different rooms at different location for each occurrence of the meeting but at the time of setting up the meeting I want all rooms to be auto allocated at each location for entire duration of meting series ( say for 3 months - My meeting series is for 3 months).

As a user, I often wish to see emails received on a past day or week of my calendar. I would like a contextual command to construct an email search criteria from the selected Calendar view.
"Emails received that day|week"3 votes
Please improve password sync time between O365 and Mac Outlook client. It is taking almost 1 hour for when a user has requested to change a password on Outlok (Mac), and when I change it on O365 Admin Center, it takes almost 1 hour for Outlook to prompt the user to change his/her password. Windows clients do not experience this as when a request to have password change is made, it is immediate.1 vote
When I go to month view, it shows me an entire calendar month, regarldess of where I am in that month. This is annoying because I can towards the end of the month (say September 25) and the majority of the screen still shows me calendar events for September. It would be better that it, instead, shows four-five weeks worth of events, the majority of which are in the future.
1) Click month view
a) Last week
b) This week
c) Next week
d) The week after
This should automatically scroll and update every week.3 votes
Back on Windows I always had two Outlook Windows open - one with mailbox, the second with calendar. Was really practical to be able to scroll through the calendar when writing an email and looking for possible slots to suggest a meeting/phone call/ etc. On Mac this does not seem possible.8 votes
If I click an addressee in Outlook mail it show a pop-up with details of that person. Please add the same to attendee list in the schedule window for a meeting so I can see a persons detail without having to manually look them up in contacts.1 vote
Currently all e-mails which are signed, encrypted or signed+encrypted have the lock symbol in the 'attachement' column. Furthermore when writing a new e-mail and select the option to sign the message a notification bar shows up between the subject and the text showing a lock symbol.
This might be missleading for the user and she might think that the content of a signed e-mail gets encrypted.1 vote
How does Outlook calendar STILL not handle vacations and WFH in the calendar? Every workplace I’ve been in has muddled through using appointments to notify their team of vacation time, while the “out of office“ designation is carried to all recipients. This includes jobs at Microsoft.
How did the default 6am reminder make it out of QA? Who would ever want that?4 votes
Please display in the People window the date of the last sent and received email for an individual as in the old Entourage Suite.
I really miss the old Entourage feature where the date of the last email sent or received from an individual was displayed with all of their other details in the People window. Going through the Search process in the Mail window each time is time-wasting and doesn't always give the results wanted.1 vote
When I select an e-mail in my inbox, it opens in the preview pane. As soon as I follow a link in that e-mail, the e-mail isn't highlighted anymore.
I expect the email currently in the preview pane to stay highlighted.

It could be useful for time management to keep in the calendar a trace of a meeting on witch we've been invited even if we refuse participation3 votes
In the print options it would be very useful to add an option to choose to print attached images with it's email.
Enable automatic synchronization of event answers between web-interface and outlook for mac (desktop app)
When I send a calender event invitation to an attendee (in or out my organization) the outlook for mac desktop app does not sync the attendee's answer automatically with the web-interface. In the web-interface I can see that the person has accepted my invitation. But in the Outlook for Mac App I only see "the attendee has not answered yet". Even hours later this information is still not synced. I must click on "sync now" to update the calender. Then it works. It would be much more helpful if the outlook app syncs automatically.3 votes
Add a preference setting to enable/disable "Request Responses" by default in new meetings I create3 votes
Currently, every time an email is replied to, a new "You replied to this message..." bar is added to the top of the email. I would request that since the ability to see the conversation history is easily accessible, this be limited to the most recent email.3 votes
Make it possible to decide how much data (mails) that is stored and downloaded to your MAC HD. Just as on PC - 3 months, 1 year, all etc...
On my PC I have the possibility to configure my outlook exchange account to set how much mail that is stored locally on my PC. When on MAC - all my mail from 12 years back seems to be downloaded to my MAC HD - totally unnecessary!!
I would like the same feature as on PC and be able to set 1 month, 3 months, 1 year, all. etc...
That would be incredibly valuable for many of us!!
Thank you!3 votes
