  1. Add the actual date in the Reading Pane for "today" emails

I saw this post on the web, and I realize I too want to see the date, even it if is "Today". Sometimes I just don't know what day it is, and I look at my Inbox to confirm the date - BUT now all Today emails are dated "Today". Can we then change the date in the Reading Pane from "Today" to the actual date? It still would show Today in the Inbox, but be more specific in the Reading Pane.

  2. Dashboard

A dashboard indicating new, flagged up, categorized emails, a calendar showing upcoming meetings, tasks would be a nice to have feature. On startup, it should show this dashboard.

  4. Focused Inbox across All Accounts ("Focused Unified Inbox") a la Outlook for iOS

Simply aggregate the Focused Inbox across all accounts simultaneously.

  6. Calendar and task-list in main-screen of outlook

At the moment calendar and task-list just can be used in separate screens. It would be very useful to implement both features (calendar & task-list) in the main screen of outlook, where mail view and folder structure is located. Windows-version of outlook already delivers this function by a so called "popup"-function, so please make it possible for mac-users, too. thanks.

  7. SMIME is broken in the "new outlook" for MacOS (also the advanced account option is gone")

Reinstate the advanced account options to be able to configure and use S/MIME

  8. Prevent duplication notifications when using both To Do and Outlook

I use Microsoft Outlook (version 16.31) for Mac and Microsoft To Do. When I set a reminder in To Do, I get a desktop notification from both apps. This is annoying. I'd like a way to prevent these duplicate notifications.

This happens because I use my work account for both Outlook and To Do. This thread mentioned it's expected behavior right now https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/disable-outlook-tasks-notification/89be8699-9fbe-4323-a8d1-8c47d547746a?auth=1 but I'd like that to change. Currently I would have to completely disable meeting notifications on my desktop, and that would be very difficult since I rely on both meeting and task notifications.

    Since I use To…

  9. Allow sending without receiving

Please allow us to send emails including replies to already received emails whilst choosing to not yet receive new emails from the server - like a 'partially online' setting. Exchange should allow this to allow us to deal with pending issues without the distraction of new emails constantly arriving.

  10. Please add an option to choose preferred calendar application more opening meeting invites.

by default outlook opens meeting invites in the outlook calendar, however I prefer to use apple calendar for this. which means it is easy to miss appointments because outlook only write to outlook calendar. the work around is to save the invite to disk (not alway possible is the ics file is not attached) and open it separately. outlook should have an option in preferences for the user to choose the ir preferred calendar application

  11. Fix recipient auto complete.

Recipient auto complete in Outlook Office 365 is severely lacking. Only a few of the most commonly used names of hundreds are referenced, requiring a hunt and peck search to find the correct recipient(s). In all other email providers recipient addresses are instantly presented. Why not this Windows product?

  12. Email templates

Make it easier to create Outlook messages from prebuilt and responsive email templates. Like Mailchimp but inside of Outlook.

  13. Order by first name in Calendar

Please could we sort by first name in the shared calendars? It can be hard to remember everyone's surname. Would be helpful to have the option to do this

  14. Bug report - Local Inbox Sync

With irritating regularity, Outlook will not actually sync my local inbox - even after the 'Synchronize Now' button is used multiple times.

In these scenarios, I can attempt to quit and restart outlook (I frequently need to force quit), but the inbox still won't actually sync. If I want to actually receive new messages, I need to fully reboot my machine for outlook to pick up new messages. Force-syncing doesn't resolve the issue, quitting / force-quitting and re-starting Outlook doesn't solve the issue, only rebooting the machine does.

I am running on an up-to-date version of Mojave, and I keep…

  15. Reading pane to right - folders and conversation view

With reading pane set to the right and mails viewed as conversation, it would be very useful to see in the right pane list also the mails sent.
At the same time the mail list in the left, when developed, should show also the mails sent and those located in folders.
The folder name where each mail of the conversation is located should appear in this list.
This functionality is available on outlook.office.com

  16. Fix search results UI so that panel (once again) looks like inbox

Yesterday, Outlook for Mac 16.35 (20020507) began showing search results as a long list of truncated titles and dates. This is useless. I have to click on each-and-every one to view the message in the right pane (the UI does not expand the middle, search results, pane).

Search should "filter" emails and maintain the view I am using in my InBox! That's what it WAS doing before this update.

OH. And there is no "Feedback" option in the Help menu. Which is why I've resorted to UserVoice.

  17. Fix direct entry of appointments in calendars

It used to be possible to drag a time range in a calendar, and then type in the title of the appointment right there. Now, after dragging the time range, it just says 'New Appointment', and I have to double-click to open the entry and add a title.

  18. Mail Vault - a Hardened Folder with Enhanced Privacy, Security and Encryption

    Feature: Vault Folder

I want a "vault" folder with hardened encryption, access and authentication.

Imagine similar features to [OneDrive's Personal Vault](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2019/06/25/onedrive-personal-vault-added-security-onedrive-additional-storage/). Essentially I want similar features in Outlook.

    Core Business Requirements

The core concepts of this suggested folder feature:

    • Hardened encryption at rest

    • Effective privacy enhancements

    • Lockable, auto-lock and timeout

    • Additional authentication

    • Secure multi-factor authentication options

    Nice to See

I would rather see some Vault-like feature than none.
To see this implemented "right" in my own view would need

    • Recovery Key Management

    • Strong Open Cryptography

    • Strong MFA

    • Inhibited Access

    • Exfiltration Protection

    • Access Restrictions

    • Privacy by Default

    • Secure Development

  19. Add Outlook to Share Menu (Extensions), for Mac

Have Outlook added to the 'share' menu (under Extensions) in System Preferences. It's time-consuming, and annoying to constantly have to drag files to Outlook — as opposed to being able to sending them via Outlook under the 'share' option. This is a must for businesses, that email a lot of attachments. Thanks.

  20. Sensitivity Labels in New Outlook for Mac

The new Outlook for Mac has Sensitivity label greyed out whereas the current Outlook for Mac has them available. When can we have Sensitivity labels working in the new Outlook for Mac?
