Keep my page layout settings in Outlook so I don't have to reset it each time I want to print something
Keep my page layout settings in Outlook so I don't have to reset it each time I want to print something. The default it keeps resetting to is portrait, but I always use landscape.

ribbon
Starting with Outlook for Mac 15.33 (170409), the ribbon is being auto-expanded when one presses the keyboard shortcut to focus on the search box at the top. Please stop doing this or provide a preference to control this behaviour. Thanks.

Improve AutoFormat hyphens and dashes
I’d like to propose a feature improvement.
I quite like Word’s (and Outlook’s and other office’s apps) auto-formatting feature (i.e. converting hyphen to en dash, proper quotes, periods etc.).
Just recently I learned that using en dash is actually wrong in many of the contexts it is used by Outlook/Word. I believe machines are now powerful enough so a bit of AI can be put in place and get the hyphen/en-dash/em-dash/figure-dash to much better place than they are right now.It could greatly improve the visual appeal of the text.
Thank you!

Single Sign On support for Office365
I'd like to see Office 365 support SSO/ADFS authentication. Other enterprise applications (e.g. Cisco Jabber) have incorporated ADFS based authentication. Ideally, in the controlled enterprise infrastructure, clients log into the computer with their AD based credentials, launch Office365, and are automagically authenticated with their O365 license with the credentials they've logged into the computer with.

autocorrect
Autocorrect does not take advantage of MacOS Text Replacement: Should be able to import text replacement from MacOS or automatically be added

Outlook's failure modes
Whenever Outlook goes offline, a notification or popup should appear.
For example, right now, if the process "Office365ServiceV2" freezes. The Outlook client goes offline without any notification. While I know this is a bug due to Office365ServiceV2, the client should still inform the user that it went offline, regardless of the reason.

Increase the password character limit in Outlook for Mac - Business
Seems to be a character limitation in the OLforMac 2016 client. Same passphrase works in Skype and Windows but not in the OL for Mac 2016 client. Shorter passphrase worked, but my new one (36 characters) no longer authenticates me.

Let me drag the "Junk Mail" folder higher up, near the Inbox
There is no way to re-order the folder items in the sidebar. It would be very helpful to be able to see if anything was in the "Junk Mail" folder without having to scroll past all of the other folders.

Review resources Outlook is using
Since version 15.29 Outlook is always keeping my Mac running hot. It is always listed as the application using the most energy. As soon as I close Outlook my fan turns off. And I'm using a brand new MacBook Pro.

I would like to see more CLI in the AutoUpdate for the Macintoshes.
As an enterprise admin, managing 1000+ Mac users, I would like to be able to use more CLI. I can now set the preferences to automatic download with a mass CL, but would like to send out a script that will kickstart the Autoupdate, if needed.

Implement True Tagging
Outlook supports categories but full tag support would be so much more flexible. Need to be able to quickly and easily create tags on all Outlook objects and quickly create views and search folders based on multiple tags. It needs to be very easy and fast to tag an email. Maybe a hotkey or button where you can enter custom keywords auto-completing existing ones, etc.
