Prevent duplication notifications when using both To Do and Outlook
I use Microsoft Outlook (version 16.31) for Mac and Microsoft To Do. When I set a reminder in To Do, I get a desktop notification from both apps. This is annoying. I'd like a way to prevent these duplicate notifications.
This happens because I use my work account for both Outlook and To Do. This thread mentioned it's expected behavior right now https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/disable-outlook-tasks-notification/89be8699-9fbe-4323-a8d1-8c47d547746a?auth=1 but I'd like that to change. Currently I would have to completely disable meeting notifications on my desktop, and that would be very difficult since I rely on both meeting and task notifications.
Since I use To…

Change the sort order of tasks so that those with 'No due date' come after the furthest away tasks, not before
Currently if you sort tasks by Due date it displays as follows:
Ascending order
– No due date
– Soonest dates
– Furthest away datesDescending order
– Furthest away dates
– Soonest dates
– No due dateWouldn't it make more sense for those with 'No due date' to come after the Furthest away dates, so that you're most pressing tasks can be ordered to display at the top of the list?

Add tasks from list
In the Windows version, I can create a new task from within the list, rather than having to launch a new dialog. Please do this in the Mac version, too.

Macros in Outlook
I would love to have the ability to create macros in Outlook for Mac. For instance, to create a macro that will allow me to schedule a Skype meeting using my own meeting id.

Add a Project Management Feature
Create Add Project (similar to a task) that users can create/add tasks to.... either "User defined" tasks or "emails" flagged as tasks.
I suspect there are a lot of users who would pay for this addition.
Collaboration feature would be great. Like combining MS Teams with Outlook5 votes -
tasks sync across office applications -outlook, planner, onenote
It seems crazy that a task on OneNote doesn't sync to outlook and/or planner - surely we can have one list of tasks across all office applications

add dragging emails into tasks for outlook mac 2016
in my company we had lotus notes. we had a great way of adding to tasks emails. especially the guys following the GTD way of organizing tasks. now we passed to outlook 16 for mac and it looks impossible to drag an email into a task and it makes my job much more difficult. is there a way around?

Ability to Group Tasks like in the Windows version. Currently all you can do is sort by a field.
Just need to be able to group, expand/collapse the tasks list like you can in the Windows version. As soon as you get past a screen full you can't manage the list properly.

Bring Task Details tab to tasks in Outlook for Mac
Feature already exists for the Windows Outlook client. Frustrating for those of us who use both operating systems in the course of our business day to have some features available to us only on a given OS.

collaborative tasks
I am quite puzzled that it seems to be impossible at Outlook for Mac (v 15.41) to collaborate on tasks or even only display tasks sent from other Outlook users (using the PC version).

Attachment support for calendar and tasks
Add attachment support for calendar items and tasks. Also it should be possible to easily create a new task or calendar item with an email as attachment.

Switching Identities in Outlook 2016 mac
Can we please have access to the separate identities in Outlook, the same way Entourage used to? At start up you had a small menu giving the choice which identity you wanted to see. Then if you wished to change identities again, there was a 'switch identity' button under the 'file' menu that brought up the same small menu.
Having to go through the outlook profile manager to reset the outlook default identity every time is very inconvenient!

after updating task it moves to next
In the task list, when I update a category or followup date, it automatically moves it to the next task. I don't want it to move forward until I'm done updating multiple items on the task. I keep having to click back on the task.

Fix recurring tasks bug
Recently I have encountered a problem with recurring tasks.
Asked I complete the task one day and it re-sets for the next occurrence the due date and reminder date won't be the same. For some reason the reminder date seems to jump to a different date and not correspond with the due date.
EG. I have a recurring task every day of the week. I mark it done on Monday but then the dates will jump to say Thursday and it would be missed on the other days yet the setup is to happen every day? It's extremely annoying as…7 votes
