  1. Add the Outlook Customer Manager Add-on in Outlook for Mac

The Outlook Customer Manager add-on is a great tool for Windows Users. As of Outlook for Mac version 16.20 the add-on is not available in Outlook, and we need this module / app in Outlook

Being able to create a new Contact that displays a custom New Contact default window with all of the entry fields most needed already displayed.
The majority of my New Contacts are for individuals where the Home Address and Email Address fields are needed (NOT work) and at least 5 of the Personal fields are always needed for extra details such as name, breed, *** and age. It is most tedious have to individually add new fields every time.

  4. Change display options in Contacts

Make it poossible to display Contact Names with Last Name first. Instead of 'Jane Doe', I know many want to have Outlook display 'Doe, Jane'

  5. Make it seemless for Outlook for Mac to sync with Mac Contacts (including iCloud)

When you add a new contact in Mac Contacts (which is in sync with iCloud) you should be able to send an email from Outlook to that contact without needing to copy and paste it manually (in the 21st century)

  7. Sync local contacts from Apple Contacts app

EWS is blocked for OS X at most companies because it presents the potential issue of data leakage.

Many companies are taking advantage of Intune's conditional access, but until conditional access supports EWS, many companies disable EWS. Companies do this because EWS sidesteps conditional access when abled and allows all email/calendar/contacts to be downloaded to a devices without any way for the company to enforce security policies simultaneously.

On OS X, it is important to have your contacts in the Apple Contacts app because a Mac basically functions like a cell phone with the ability to make/receive phone calls and…

  9. Color coordinated email identification (internal vs external email addresses)

When you are drafting a new email or replying to an existing email - have the email addresses of the to/cc participants be a different color, which identifies quickly the recipients that are internal vs external. This could be done by identifying in outlook the @microsoft.com vs @abc.com email addresses and color accordingly.

Why is this helpful? For larger companies sometimes you don't know the 30 people on an email. When you need to take an email thread internal - you have to click on each email to remove the external participants.

If they were color coordinated - you would…

  10. Outlook should remember a listed by selection when changing a category or an adress book

Its really annoying, that Outlook always forgets the last selected sort by selection when changing saved searches or categories. Its important to search in Work adress books by Company but in Private adress books by Surame e.g.

  11. Drag-and-Drop support for Address book in vcard-Format

Outlook already supports drag and drop for calendar events in the standard ics format. In the same way it would be very helpful to create vcard files from address book entries by drag-and-drop.
Currently vcard support by drag-and-drop exists in some way, but only works with contacts which exist locally on the computer and it seems that there is no way to transfer them from the server to the computer.

  13. Nicknames

Please add nicknames as a search field in the people search display popup window. We have several colleagues who go by a nickname and not their official name and when I search by their nickname it doesn't find them. It does seem to work when I start a new email

  14. Allow sharing contact subfolders. Users don't want to share all their contacts with their colleagues.

Contact sharing is currently not working with contact subfolders. Our users need this functionality to choose what contact they want to share with their colleagues

  15. Enable SharePoint Contact Lists on Outlook for Mac

Enable SharePoint Contact Lists on Outlook for Mac

Larger organizations with either "self-hosted" or Office 365 service using SharePoint as their primary source to manage and share internal information are currently unable to connect to SharePoint Contact Lists, using Outlook 2016 for Mac.

Please enable Outlook for Mac to Connect to SharePoint Contact Lists.

  17. Support the GSuite global contacts list (and make it available offline)

Currently I only get autocomplete for people I have already emailed, it would be great to be able to autocomplete (and select calendars for) anyone in the GSuite domain (and for off-line email composing have that cached)
Ideally if there is additional metadata entered (eg Title, phone number, office location, Manager etc) that would also be available so Outlook could display a hierarchy like it does for Exchange GAL

  18. Support for personal Exchange Distribution Lists

Please add support in Outlook for Mac for Exchange distribution lists. The lists that I have created in Windows I can only use in Windows or OWA. I do not like having to re-create all of them and have them stored locally on the computer.

  20. Quit using ActiveX for activating Contact Sharing in Sharepoint

Sharepoint is great for connecting address lists with Outlook. But Mac users cannot activate this funktion, because it is only possible with Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Please use another technology for activating the button in Sharepoint.
