  1. Calendar and task-list in main-screen of outlook

At the moment calendar and task-list just can be used in separate screens. It would be very useful to implement both features (calendar & task-list) in the main screen of outlook, where mail view and folder structure is located. Windows-version of outlook already delivers this function by a so called "popup"-function, so please make it possible for mac-users, too. thanks.

  2. Ability for Calendar filters, i.e. Categories, to support Grid view, currently only supports List view. Feature removed in 16.20 update

Microsoft removed the feature for you to select which Category to show on a Calendar i.e. Grid View. You used to be able to do this by clicking on the Triangle next to a Calendar in the Sidebar which would display all of your Categories. Then you could pick and choose which Categories to display on your Calendar. Now that this feature is removed, you must use Filters, which would be OK but Filters only support List View. Feature removed in 16.19 or 16.20 update.

  3. Show only your own calendar reminders

If you have several calendars from several mailboxes, it should be possible to select the calendars to which you want to get reminders. Right now you'll get reminders from all calendars. Alternatively only show reminders from the main calendar like in Outlook for Windows

  4. Import csv file into outlook calendar

I'd like to import a csv file into my Outlook calendar and have it creating appointments from it (same functionality as available for Outlook PC).

  5. Improve calendar updating

Ensure the calendar on Outlook for Mac updates automatically when I send a meeting response. Terrible looking at my calendar and then not seeing meetings I have already responded to. This seems to be a new bug.

  6. Make sending calendar notifications when something is changed optional

Every time there is a change in agenda, or a meeting shortened to 30 minutes instead of 45, the calendar sends the changes to everyone as an email. If things need to be updated frequently, the people in the meeting get a barrage of emails which is confusing and unnecessary. Please allow the option of sending notifications or not for each change made to an invite. It would be much easier if some changes were able to be made without notifications.

  7. Allow sync with IMAP calendars

I just found out that IMAP calendars will no longer sync with Outlook 2016. Calendars are such an important part of business services, I'm not sure why this was removed!

  8. Need ability to update calendar events without sending an email notification

Need to be able to update meeting details such as the description or adding a new participant without emailing all the participants every time.

  10. Individual Auto e-mail reminders for appointments booked in a series on the calendar

I have a large number of appointments in my calendar that recur. It seems that only an auto reminder e-mail of detailing the full series is available as opposed to individual reminders on individual days of the series.
Individual reminders would be a great help.

  11. Switching events between calendars in Outlook App

In the previous version of Outlook for Mac, the user could drag an existing event from one calendar and drop it into another calendar, like a shared calendar, simply by dragging it over to the right-side menu and hovering over the calendar the user wanted to move it to.

In the latest version, that doesn't seem to be possible anymore (16.20).

  12. Social Connector / People Pane for Calendar

It would be nice if we could have the Social Connector implemented as it is in the Windows versions of Outlook. I often used the People Pane to quickly review who was in the meeting invites I received and to identify any mail/other Outlook items I may have which could be associated to the invite.

  14. Calendar groups

Add calendar groups function to match what's available in Outlook for Office 365 Outlook 2019 Outlook 2016 Outlook 2013 Outlook 2010

See Calendar Groups support article here: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/create-view-or-delete-a-calendar-group-04fc64f2-b658-450b-8dce-dd27ed660570

  15. Change Reminder on Occurrence of Series

The Outlook for Mac client is the only client that disables the Reminder dropdown when editing an occurrence of a calendar series.

These controls should be consistent, or at least consistently-enabled across different platforms. Clearly the Exchange server supports this functionality

  16. Propose New Time to Meeting and Optionally Include Others on the Response

Similar to the suggestion "Add additional recipients to calendar response", please add the ability to optionally include others on the Reply that's created when responding to an invitiation from someone and you choose "Propose a New Time". Currently, it is not possible to type additional recipients in the "To:" field or to add a "CC:" or "BCC:" field.

  17. [Bug report] Offline updates to calendar invites are lost

As a user of Outlook connected to Exchange, I want to add information to an unsent meeting invite when I am not connected to a network.
Expected result: The calendar invite can be updated before it is sent (in a similar manner to unsent emails), and the recipient sees the latest version.

Actual result: Changes made to unsent meeting invites are lost, and there appears to be no way to recover the unsent changes that were made.
Client version: Outlook for Mac 16.12 (180410)

    Server: Exchange (unknown version)

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Disconnect from network (preventing Outlook from sending).

  18. Easier calendar selection with multiple calendar

When creating a new calendar event or adjusting an existing one and you have multiple O365 accounts connected to Outlook there should a clear selection bar when you can select the calendar (like the from field selector when you send an e-mail) so it is obvious which calendar you are selecting.

Right now it is roll the dice!

  19. Create new meeting from existing meeting

Create a new meeting based on the attendees and notes of a current meeting. This could be used to setup a follow-up or continued discussion for that initial meeting. Include in the details of the new meeting the original meeting date/time as a reference.

  20. Make "Working Elsewhere" visible within Scheduling Assistant

I work from home once a week, so I created an appointment for my remote day and selected "Working Elsewhere" for "Show As". However, in Scheduling Assistant, I am the only one who sees this status, so when someone is looking to schedule a meeting, I appear "Free". Please fix this issue so that Scheduling Assistant shows Busy, Tentative, Free, AND Working Elsewhere status. Thanks.
