Scheduled Automatic Replies
Connect the Automatic Reply function to Calendar. Currently they are separate features. Users should be able to schedule automatic replies to occur during a scheduled time that aligns with calendar appointments. If I make a doctor's appointment 3 months in the future, or I schedule PTO in the future, I will block my schedule with an appointment and set the status to "Out of Office". I should have the option to schedule automatic email replies at the same time, so that when that day comes my schedule shows out of office and my automatic replies are enabled. Currently it has to be done in two steps and I always have to enable and write a new automatic reply before leaving the office. I should be able to schedule them in advance with my calendar appointments and know that they are enabled during those times.
I agree - I am on parental leave one day biweekly . Have missed this feature for a long time. I always forget to add it manually.
It would be nice to have automatic replies on the days I don't work. I work part time and it would save me a lot of time if automatic replies works with my Calendar.
Also it would be great to schedule the automatic replies without blocking the calendar. This would be quite useful for users having consistent working hours (like Mo-Fr 8:00-16:00 or Mo,We,Fr 8:00-16:00 and Th,Tu 9:00-17:00) that don't want to set an automatic replie every day but to define one that would be sent without further ado outside these times.
