Task due date should be automatically added onto Outlook Calendar
If you enter a task with a due date, it should show up in your calendar as either an all-day event or an event at the time assigned (if applicable). When the task is complete, it should update in calendar with the strikethrough formatting.

No! Keep Tasks and Calendar separate! Viewing tasks per day is a function which is well integrated in Outlook already. You can set this in the view settings based on your preferences.

YES!!! Integrating a task into the calendar would be VERY helpful, allowing me (and others) to see my workload on my shared calendar. Cureently, when an appointment or meeting is added to the calendar as a place-holder or reminder for a task that is due at a later date, it begins showing and alerting as OVERDUE from the begin date, not as time remaining to the DUE date.
This is something Google implemented that works wonderfully. You should also be able to turn off "task view" if your calendar is becoming too cluttered. But many people - myself included - basically live by our calendars and if the task doesn't show up there I won't remember it.

Do not support this idea. Too much detail in a calendar. Clutter.
