Change colors of Outlook or Word icons
In the task bar, latest icons for Outlook 365 and Word 365 are too similar (blue).
It's confusing.

Standardize such colors across all the MS 365 apps.
(Force the teams to share information?)
No reason for the different apps to have different color schemes for the same functions, like icons or other things! -

I agree: the colours are too similar - its very easy to click the wrong icon. Please change the colour of one, preferably Outlook

It may not seem like a big thing to the jerk who did it, but it is so hard to untrain the brain to look for the yellow icon. Especially for those of us who are older...you know, the ones who invented MS in the first place.

Change the icon color back to Yellow. The MS Word icon has always been blue!

1) Just change the Outlook it back to yellow.
2) Listen to your customers.
3) Listen to people who specialise in the look and feel of a graphical product.
4) Give your customers the ability to choose what they want and take into account many users are in locked-down installations so any facility should not require downloading or installing stuff.

I've tried everything. My latest try is to isolate blue word between two yellow icons and place blue outlook between two reddish icons. Doesn't work.

hope they revert back outlook color to orange or other than blue as word.

So glad to see this as I thought it was just me. I guess it is to level the playing field so the rest of us can experience colorblindess. Ridiculous.

What department thought it was a good idea to use almost identical shades of blue for Outlook and Word. They are virtually indistinguishable on the task bar.
Do Microsoft graphic designers or marketers have ANY input regarding, um, I don't know, branding?

Whew, I'm so glad it wasn't just me. I have no idea how such a horrible idea could be made. Change the outlook icon back to Yellow!!!!

Please change this! It shows a real lack of design prowess and consideration for the user experience. Outlook, Word and teams all look like hues of blue and cause the user to mistakenly click on the wrong app, madness!

Extremely confusing to have blue icons for both Outlook and Word for long time users of Office. I probably hit the wrong app at least 2 -3 times per day. Outlook used to be an orange color... it really wouldn't matter what color Outlook is changed to as long as it isn't Blue which is what Word has been for years. This is a very annoying problem and adds stress, unecessary needless/incorrect mouse clicks to those of use who are clicking our lives away trying to get stuff done. PLEASE CHANGE THIS.

Couleurs similaires avec Word, One-Drive, Teams, Edge, Paramètres etc... Ce n'est pas ergonomique. Et c'est à devenir fou. //// Similar colors with Word, One-Drive, Teams, Edge, Settings etc... This is not ergonomic. And it's going crazy.
