Follow-up reminders about unanswered e-mails
In my daily work I often struggle with following scenario (I guess not only me): I send an e-mail to someone with a request to take some action. These requests are not always urgent, but I expect to receive an answer/feedback in the end to close the case.
But sometimes e-mails don't get answered by the recipients or they simply forget to reply.
The problem is I cannot track responses and constantly keep in memory the list of all unanswered e-mails.
So, I would love to see a feature in Outlook which would allow me to mark (some) outgoing e-mails as "Demanding-Reply" (on/off switch) to track unanswered e-mails. Outlook could then notify me about e-mails marked as "Demanding-Reply" that have not been replied for a longer time (time configurable per message).
This solution would allow me to stay on top of unanswered requests and send reminders If needed. Also include emails from non-Microsoft accounts: gmail, yahoo mail, etc.
Please consider my request.
I'm sure it would bring value to many people and help them in daily work.
As asked by below folks, i am also waiting for these options. Insights added by OUTLOOK doesn't worked properly for me and also, it is not highlighting pending reply from my side.
If option of "To reply" can be added under follow-up or Catagorize or Quicksteps

Reminder of a calendar appointment not only in the mailbox but also by e-mail with the possibility of the time period how many days you want to be notified in advance.
If I expect an answer when sending an E-mail, a button "Send and remind me after ** days if no reply" under the button "Send" would be a great alternative to a CRM tool!
After the delay, the reminder could be directly a new draft window in order to reply to my last E-mail and re-start the discussion.

It would be awesome if Outlook automatically monitored email and flagged emails that either haven't had a reply, or emails that have been sent to you but haven't been replied to as of yet.
Gmail currently handles this quite elegantly with an orange notification below emails that you may have forgotten to reply to, or emails where you haven't had a reply back as of yet.
Should be able to set reminders on all mail including mail from non-Microsoft accounts: gmail, yahoo mail, etc that are linked to outlook.
