Do search in folder and subfolders, when Shared Mailbox is Cached.
1: Make it possible to search Folders and Subfolders in a Shared Cached Mailbox.
2: Make it possible to search the whole Cache, and have result showing
Found in: Shared Mailbox1\Path\Item
Found in: Shared Mailbox2\Path\Item

We have multiple customers with shared mailboxes and searching in subfolders.. We have configured the shared mailbox via Microsoft Best Practice but it doens't allow to search in subfolders...
Would like to fix this.
Shocking this doesn't work! Come on this is basic functionality! Should also be able to store sent / deleted items in the shared mailbox as well... My Office 365 "upgrade" was a serious downgrade :(

Why was the functionality not carried over from earlier versions??? Really not good enough. Even if you could search subfolders in shared folders it would be something. I have 4 shared mailboxes it would take me all day to just select let alone search them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Disappointed to found out normal search behaviour is not working for shared mailboxes connected via default settings. (Automapping + cache shared mailboxes). A support ticket at Microsoft acknowledged this is a 'known issue'.
Amazed to see there are only 40 votes for this request, while there are more than 135000 views and 105 replies at the tech community about this issue:
For now I had to apply the workaround to disable caching for shared mailboxes, hoping Outlook will keep performing and won't stop responding.. keep my fingers crossed. :-s
I would like to add the feature described above.
Make search work as the search options suggest:
Search all mailboxes needs to search all mailboxes of all accounts. Same for all outlook items, which needs to go into all subfolders - can we have a search all folders for the email that searches over all accounts.
It is frustrating to have to repeat the search over each account. Otherwise, I might as well use a different email program for each account I have... This seems like a basic, normal expectation for feature/behaviour to have. I can barely believe that this is not covered.
(Do you do usability studies?!?)
