Remove references to 'his or her' in calendar of Outlook 2016
We want to change the terminology here from “his or her” to “their”, in order to be inclusive of individuals who do not identify as female nor male. You could also consider ways of avoiding the use of a pronoun altogether: “Would you like to contact the calendar owner to ask for calendar access”? You could also import the users’ registered prefixes and say for instance: “Do you want to contact (Prefix) Name Surname to ask for calendar access?”. In this way, if a user is registered to use a prefix such as “Mx”, this can be imported to the error message.
This is an important step in creating an inclusive space for non-binary and trans communities. It should be implemented regardless of how many people 'up-vote' it, since there is a justified civic and legal value to implementing an inclusive service.
