Allow to revert to the old Ribbon icon set in Outlook 2016
Allow to revert to the old Ribbon icon set in Outlook 2016 especially in Enterprise scenario.
Thank you for your feedback. Office has hundreds of millions of people who rely on it every day to do their best work. Customers have a wide range of hardware, including displays that can’t faithfully reproduce all colors or provide good contrast so what may be clear in one device can be hard to see in another, or even the same device in a room with different lighting conditions.
The last major update to the Office icons was in 2013, and since we’ve heard a lot from customer feedback as well as participated in emerging industry best practices for how to improve the accessibility of iconography. The new icons you see on Office 365 reflect these learnings – our intent is to balance all these diverse visual and hardware needs to provide the best experience to as many customers as possible.
We know big visual changes can be disruptive, and when changing thousands of icons sometimes we won’t get everything right so please let us know if there’s specific icons that you think could be improved (e.g., if a new icon metaphor doesn’t feel familiar, or if the new color choices in a particular icon make it harder to find). You can leave comments here, or submit feedback directly from any of the Office apps (using File > Feedback). Now that the new icons are shared across web, PC, and Mac we can provide a common experience that we hope will become more familiar over time, and with your help we can continue refining the icons and features over time so they work better for you and allow you do to your best work.

Agreed -- these new icons are harder to recognize, not easier. Their think wireframes are harder to distinguish, the flat treatment not as easy to understand, and the lack of color makes them harder to find and use for us "older" users. Please restore the old iconography, or allow us to switch back.
Instead of forcing everyone to adopt the new icons in Outlook ,which are harder to read and cartoonish looking, allow the old ones as an option.

Absolutely agree -- please enable us to revert back to the prior ribbon look and feel. The new look and feel is not only harder to read, but looks like a child's stick figure drawings. Not visually appealing at all.
The new icons that have been pushed out to all subscribers are very child like and I don't want them. Please add an option ASAP to swap back to the original icons. Making a change like this with zero feedback from users is stunning.

The new ribbon Icons for build 1809 look terrible. I though something had gone wrong with my system. Please revert them back to the last builds icons or at least give the option to use the legacy style icons.
My Outlook icons now resemble a children's cartoon book - why has this been forced on me & can I have the option to change the view back please?

The new icons are horrible and not intuitive. It is confusing to have these silly "stick" icons in the same ribbon as "full" legacy Add-in Icons. I do not look forward to having to update all of our training documentation because someone at Microsoft was bored with the old look.

Despite the claim that these icons are easier to view, I find them to be HARDER to use. They are too flat, and lack color to make it easy to distinguish the icon from the ribbon itself! Use of color is inconsistent -- why is the OneNote link colored, but the Respond icons are mostly white/grey with the tiniest amount of color?
For those of us with older eyes, this "upgrade" is anything but...
If ever I'm on a bubblegum colored Mac, showing small children how to write e-mails, I may find these icons useful. Until that time, I would prefer a professional looking client in an enterprise environment. In fact, I would prefer any 'theme' changes be optional.
Make the new wire-frame ribbon icons optional or at least make it so that users than revert back to the version before this update. It would be nice in the future is users could be forewarned of such aggressive visual changes so they could decide to turn off updates.

Some people may like the new ribbon icons released in build 1809, but I have heard many comments suggesting that the previous icon set is much more appealing. Please allow users the option to choose which set they prefer.

Please change the Outlook icons back to the original ones. The new 1809 build icons look childish. At least have an option to change from one to the other
This latest 'Outlook' is very confusing. I do not like it. It is wasting my time. Can I have the old version back?
