The ribbion tool bar
The ribbon tool bar is too large and taking up too much of my screen. Also the icons on the ribbon bar are too large. The colour range does not have enough choice. The older ribbon bar was much better on office 2010 and has gone south in my opinion. I hate the new ribbon bar and the feel of the system. The system is not an improvement over office 2010

I am also very tired of this ribbon approach to the user interface. I think it is a downgrade to previous versions. The ribbon is way too large and takes up too much space. At the same time it present a very limited number of options which you have to dig into another menu to get at. Very unproductive. One more reason to switch to Libre Office.

Please revert back. Just bought a new system and the new icons on Outlook are terrible.

Agreed. Way to big. Better options to (a) scale icons with ribbon or (b) a pill to abolish the grief for having to CTRL-F1 105 times a day.
I'm not willing/able to set up as a New User as per a previous workaround.

I agree. The new ribbon tool bar has just got wider for no added function. I want Ms to take up less space and facilitate my work, not take over my screen. I use a Mac and the Quick Access toolbar isn't much use - I can't add much to it that I need, such as draw an arrow, crop a picture etc. It's also hard to see which tab I'm on.

Please go back to the old icons. These new line work icons all blend intogether, look bigger even though they aren't and give me more eye strain. If this is a step up to giving us an option to have small icons like on the taskbar fair enough, hurry up and get that option out to everyone. If not then please put them back.

Change office ribbon back before Version 1809 (Build 10827.20084).

Go back to the previous icon design in the ribbon. You made them lighter, airier, more like a line drawing and absolutely UNREADABLE. Causing major eye fatigue as I try to discern the tiny dots that might be numbers for numbered bullets but look like, tiny dots. Come on! Who thought this was a better, more usable design?!

Make the event ribbon extend proportionally into the calendar day. I.e. If an event ends at noon, then only extend the event ribbon half way into the calendar day.

Can I have the old look and feel of the Outlook Ribbon Buttons. Some update has come along and changed them all so they look like they were created in Kindergarten!!! As a Corporate Office365 user I really don't expect things to be changed without notification.

The new ribbon update really hurts my eyes. It takes away all the vision contrast and makes everything largely white. I would strongly prefer changing back to the old version.

With regards to the new look to Outlook desktop Oct 2018,
- The shadow under the menu bar is too heavy. Unsure if it is even required...
- The new icons are a bit too stark. Too simplified. They seem to be shouting for attention. It gets tired. Maybe it works on a mobile device or website, but on a desktop, would much prefer the older icons, appreciate the detailing. Really hope somehow the older icons can be preserved.
- Pls kindly refrain from introducing the new icons styling to other MS desktop programs: Excel, Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, etc. Thank you very much.

The new version of Outlook has changed with dreadful, childish, outline-only icons in all of the ribbons. Please can we be given an option to change back to the more substantive, coloured and grown-up version. Thanks.

The new icons look like ****. They are pathetic and why do we not have an option to change it to what we like. This is 2018 and we are not kids that have to be told how and what we like and work with. Absolute bullying by Microsoft...whoever thought about this had a huge brain ****.

New ribbon toolbar icons look awful and are too big. Give user an option to remain on old ones.

The October 2018 icons are AWFUL. I'm not a child and don't need my productivity software to look cartoonlike, thanks. Please provide an option to change to a professional looking icon set.
