When you update Outlook or any other MS products, PLEASE DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY CHANGE MY SETTINGS! Who could possibly want you to do that?
MS should NOT change program settings when they update a program. It's intrusive.
Although Microsoft does not change my settings in Outlook, all of the icons, and the way view looks is changed automatically after an update. I have no control to change it back. For instance, instead of an "X", it is replaced with a garbage can. All of the characters are all different in all of the panes, the columns are all organized different, and all of the images are all whited out more. I do not like that change, and I have no way of changing it back.
Same with me. It's now the 3rd time I am changing copy-paste settings.
Ditto. Updates ran this morning on opening the program (delays the start of my day). Pop out responses were reset. Reading pane reset. Requests for read receipts on outgoing mail was reset. Took 3 tries to get Outlook to stop asking if I wanted to send a read receipt.
Wasted 15 minutes today trying to remember where the settings are located and then reset them.
