Make it possible to remove an attendee from a recurring meeting for future dates only so previous meeting dates remain on the calendar.
I often need to remove people from the calendar invite because they have moved on to a new position or just don't need to attend that particular meeting any longer, but I need the previous meeting dates to remain on their calendar for historical information and proof for mileage reimbursement etc. in Outlook 2016

I use my calendar to see what I did in the past but when I have a standup with a project that I am no longer working with I dont want to remove each one individually.
Seems like this isnt a feature request it is just the way it should work.

I agree for other reasons. I have an annual meeting for which I want to change attendees to all future meetings but not wipe out the history of earlier this year.

All modifications to FUTURE meetings on Outlook. I have to add a new attendee to a meeting scheduled for the entire 2020 year. I don't want to invite them to past meetings, just future. Or add a TC for future meetings, new location, etc. This is a basic requirement that is, unbelievably, not met in the current implementation.

Meeting series need to end for various reasons. Would like the option to cancel any future recurrences of a meeting without losing past meetings and keeping past individually adjusted occurrences.

Calandars have also a documentary function!
Simply do it like Google Calendar does it:
- This event
- This and all following events
- All events in the series.
I'd call that professional...

Yes, this is a huge pet peeve of mine. When I delete someone from a meeting maker, per the instructions, they still show up in the replies to the meeting maker, any change to the meeting maker, etc. I hate to have to delete and Redo a meeting maker every time someone leaves.

Since IOS is able to change an event for "this and recurring events" as well as "this event" or "all occurrences" we know it can be done. Being able to accept some recurrences, decline others, change locations, attendees, times for future events but not change the past is a matter helpful to keeping business records. I was shown some things can be done (like changing future times) if using web but not desktop, and others (attendees) cannot be changed without changing every occurrence. This was news and helpful for part of what I need. Please help us work "smarter not harder" when the fix should be a simple one
Not just the web version, but Outlook client as well.

When you decline a recurring meeting request you should have the option to decline only future meetings and keep past meetings on your calendar for historical purposes

As an attendee I need to decline a meeting series past a certain date, without declining the entire series. I need to keep historical record of meetings that I've attended in the past while declining future meetings I will no longer be part of. Huge ask from customers as well
