Add ability to select any calendar for new meetings and appointments, like the phone app (Windows Phone App)
In the Windows Phone App, now extinct, the user could select a New Meeting or New Appt, then choose which calendar to which it would apply. However, in the desktop version, a user must go to the desired calendar first and then click for a new meeting/appointments.
For people who use many multiple calendars, which I believe is every Outlook user, we don't look at which calendar in the stack is selected before we choose to add an event. Thus, we end up adding an event to the wrong calendar and requiring us to re-enter it. The same option should be available to editing an event - the option to move it to a different calendar, which again was available on the WP App. It is clearly possible to do and would greatly help users manage their calendars.
Drop down already exists in "new email" to select account, please make the same drop-down appear in the "new appointment".

Choix du/des calendrier(s) à afficher dans l'aperçu
Choice of the calendar (s) to display in the overview
From the mails, we have the possibility to anchor the calendar preview to the right of the screen. It's convenient, but it would be really perfect if you could choose which calendar (s) to display (iCloud for example) rather than using only the default Outlook calendar.

I have multiple calendars owned by other users in my Calendar view. I have "Editor" access rights over those calendars.
When I click "New Appointment", new appointment is added to active calendar but I actually want to add new appoint to my calendar, not other user's calendar.
I want an option that "New Appointment" will always be added to my calendar by default.

Outlook lets me change the "From:" account whenever I create a new email. Bizarrely, the same is not possible when I create a new meeting request or appointment. When I find myself creating a meeting request or appointment from the wrong calendar, I have to close the entry, ensure the correct calendar is highlighted, and start all over again.
Yes, this would be HUGELY beneficial

Yes, just add a drop down menue of available calendars/accounts, same as we can chose then "send from" account when composing email.
