Provide an option to open emails in tabs instead of new windows
Provide an option to open emails (when double clicked) to tabs in Outlook rather than in a new window, similar to how it works on webmail and Lotus Notes.
This would help greatly with reducing screen clutter and work efficiency.

When working with multiple discussion threads or a long-running thread involving emails from multiple people it VERY HARD in outlook to jump between emails. Yes, it is possible to have multiple windows but I will have to go to the task bar or tab through windows to get to them - lots of mouse movement and less convenient to find the window (or email) that you want.
Imagine using a browser without having tabs. That is what we have now. Old Lotus Notes from IBM even has this capability.

Inbox has tabs you can open, similar to those of internet broser and excel. You can have several tabs open at once, all able to display the same data. Each tab can be organised by different search topics, ie subject, sender, key words that appear frequently in the body, etc. allowing you to easily view several notes regarding the same project at once, efficiently.

In the current version of Outlook, when clicking on Calendar it opens in a new window, if you then click on mail in that new window it opens mail and full inbox in a new window, meaning you have three windows open. It would be helpful to control the opening of new windows and restrict what apps open in a new window.

Now: When I need to see a mail , I need to double click the mail. A new mail window opens. If I need to refer to two three mails for some information on same context Then I will have two three windows opened.
Disadvantage: Hectic to go from one window to other.Proposed: When I need to see a mail, It should open in new tab under same window just like internet explorer.
Advantage: Easy to go from one mail to another.
