Forward\Reply\Reply All with attachments included in Microsoft Outlook 2016
In Microsoft Outlook 2016, when we forward\reply\reply all to the email with attachments, the attachments are not available and we have to attach them manually. An option to reply all to the email with all the attachments included would be more productive in Microsoft Outlook 2016 as that option is not available as of now.

Hi,
Step 1 - Send a mail to X number of people with 2 attachments.
Step 2 - Do a REPLY ALL to the same number of X people as an update or a reminder to respond to the mail. - While doing so, the attachments are removed by outlook
Step 3 - if there was feature to ask the user if the attachments should be retained, this would be very useful
We can use the forward option to retain the attachments but then al the recipients info is lost, this is very difficult when the number of recipients are high -

in MS explorer you can select pictures and select "send to - mail recipient" which at the same time allows you to compress the pictures. please provide this function when you are selecting picture attachments in a mail while using outlook.

We are happy with Office 365... but it certainly could have "all the bells and whistles" . Right now it just meets the needs... C'mon!!!

At work (O365/client) sometimes I send an email with some attachments and I need to reply to the same email as a follow up, but I lose the attachments and I need to reattach the attachments, or forward the email instead so that it includes the attachment. Maybe we can have a conditional option to reply/reply-all with previously attached items?

When replying to one or all, the feature to also include the attachments needs to be brought in as an optional feature. Today it is a pain to use the workaround of forwarding the message & again inserting the recipients.
Please enable a Data dedupe functionality to avoid storage of the same attachments during the mail string.

Even if this option isn't able to be something that is included in Outlook 2016 (perhaps to avoid users abusing it), perhaps there could be a switch that could be activated via PowerShell?

No, you should NOT send back the attachment to the one who sent them to you!
A much better way to handle this is to automatically provide references to relevant attachments/files in any message.

Our whole office expressed frustration and puzzlement that this feature is still not an option with 2016. It takes so much more time to do this manually. Please add this as an option!

I totally agree. One of the most frustrating features lacking in Outlook is the ability to Reply or Reply All with Attachments. We should have the option to include attachments or not. Using the Forward option totally stinks because you have to add the distribution list back to the email. Pretty much every other email client in the world including Apple Mail allows you to do this. I mean, come on, the ancient Lotus Notes had this option over a decade ago. You can use VBA to create another option for this feature but every time an update comes through from Microsoft you run the risk of the VBA customization being buggy. Adding all kinds of cloud features and other add ins to Outlook is great, but why don't we try to get the basic features in the software first guys.

I can not stress enough how helpful keeping the attachment in replies would be in minimizing time and confusion when working with multiple partners who prefer to update documents this way.

Really tired of constantly forward and reattach files. for traceability it's a nightmare. Everybody I work with share the pain!

I disagree, unless the attachments are links to Sharepoint. Common users will over use this functionality sending the same attachment back and forth.

Definitely this would be very helpful. As at the moment we have to copy the attachment, hit the 'reply to all' button and then paste the attachment.
Thanks -

Can't believe Outlook doesn't have this option. It's a huge time-saver! Even Zimbra offers this option.
