Provide an option in outlook tasks to subtasks and contact association in Outlook 2016
Please add the ability to create sub-tasks in Outlook and also add the ability to associate a task with a contact w/o sending the task to that person in Exchange.

Why would you allow sub-tasks in Microsoft To-Do before adding them to Outlook for Windows where things first started many years ago. A bit of common sense would go a long way during the design phase so users don't have to raise these "ideas" that will take years to implement.
For me it would be helpfull to have subtasks that are dependend on another.

Inclure des étapes (sous-tâches) dans une tâche et un rappel séparé pour chaque étape
Include steps (subtasks) in a task and a separate reminder for each step
In the application "ToDo" it is possible to add steps. But they do not appear in "Tasks". It would be interesting to add steps (subtasks) for tasks created under Outlook. Another element that could be interesting is to add a deadline for each step, see a reminder.
There is no workaround for subtasks, that is why they are needed. Reverting to Microsoft Project is too clumsy a move, using Outlook Categories makes is too complicated and so forth. Others, Wrike and the like, have done it (subtasks). It is really odd that Microsoft offers subtask functionality in another commercial product, Microsoft Project, but not in Outlook. I wonder why.

Add subtasks deadline time, create linked subtasks which can move right at timeline, if one task timeline changed.
Maintask: Hollidays planning
subtasks: need to book flight, then hotel, then excursion. If my holidays changed and I move task to book flight to another time, so tasks for booking hotel and excursion change it's time, and reminds that dates of flights changed. (And it would be nice to add this information as log in description for maintask (dates for flights changed at ___(datetime) by ____ (USER:wife for example). And it also nice if that all tasks could be shared, that anyone could figure that tasks, and it also would be automatically logged in description of main.
Permitir criar subtarefas. Para quanto uma tarefa demanda outras ações e também facilitar a divisão da tarefa entre pessoas com subtarefas.

SUBTASKS — or indented tasks — would be a great thing!

For such a ubiquitous mailing/calendaring/task management program, how is it possible that there is no function to create subtasks or sub-to-do items?
And although I can create "custom priority levels" by typing in text into a field and grouping my tasks based on those entries, why is there no simple option to let users choose the number of levels of priority that works for them and lock them into a dropdown menu? Currently, once I check off all the tasks under a given "custom priority," that "custom priority" just disappears.
Both of these are such basic functionalities and yet would be a tremendous help to so many users.
This a simple and great idea.
My projects are to simple to justify MS Project. Please give us sub-tasks in Outlook 2016! BIG PLEASE!!!
