Bring back the Mark Complete button on the Task reminder window.
It is too cumbersome to right click the tiny line of the task in the Reminder window, and then the mouse often drifts to the Delete Item instead. I am not a procrastinator, and most of the time my tasks are complete before the reminder appears. There used to be a Mark Complete button right there, that made it much easier to complete the task and remove the reminder.
Yes you can right-click the item to choose mark complete but it is much more convenient and efficient to just click a button to do this. The dismiss button is a waste of space because if you use this on a recurring task (perhaps by accident or without actually knowing the consequences) then the task re-occurrence simply does not happening and you won't get any future reminders for that task. The only way to fix these 'broken' recurring tasks is to go into the task list and keep clicking Mark complete on each task you need to get it back to the present day. So annoying!
I just discovered that if you right click on the item in the pop up window that you get a mark complete menu item!!! When these ideas are proposed, if the solution is already there why aren't the moderators feeding that back and updating the thread??

I'm using the app. It's a good thing you guys brought back the flag button. But I also need the complete button so I can mark tasks that I've already done thru my phone.
I don't understand how this isn't a permanant feature of Outlook for windows.
I'd also like to suggest that there should be the ability to reschedule the reminder from the Task Reminder window instead of having the limited 15m before start, 1 hour, 1 day etc options in the drop down.
