Add the option to select a Task Folder when using Quick Steps "Create a task with attachment"
I am working to get a seamless experience across Outlook Tasks and Microsoft To-Do.
This is the scenario:
When I get an e-mail, I would like to create a task with the incoming e-mail attached (e.g. remind me to reply to that e-mail).
Within Quick Steps there is the option to "Create a task with attachment".
As Microsoft To-Do is using the folder structure within the Task folder to label tasks, I'd like to move the task to a certain Task folder (e.g. "Work"). However, the "Move to folder" action within Quick Steps doesn't allow to select a Task Folder, you can only select e-mail folders.
If I'm going to use Outlook (not Outlook.com) to triage email into work items, I need to be able to create either a flagged/categorized email item in Outlook (that To-Do would then recognize as a "task" organized into a "list") or to be able to create and file Tasks in Outlook DIRECTLY into Task Folders (which To-Do already recognizes as lists). If Outlook could allow me to Quick Step it, I could create a Task from an email and have Outlook prompt for Task Folder. That would be effective.
Have Quick Steps in Calendar so you can create custom appointments/reminders/meetings with one click. For example I create Reminders, Not Busy, Red Category often and it would be easier to just click a Quick Step and input the title.

It would be great to be able to use Quick Steps with tasks
For example - A quick step I am trying to create is
- Clear all categories
- Mark As read
- Clear all Flags
- Mark as Completed
- Assign Category - Completed Task
I cant see how I can do this from within the task pane of the Mail screen.
Add attachment to quick step template (see link below for details)
Quick step to task is just what I am lacking for efficiency! Please add!!
Enable the "Quick Steps" options for Tasks too
You can open your tasks in Outlook. Look for the "In Folder" column and just change it from Inbox to Tasks and it will show up in To-Do, but that's too much work to sustain.

Working on the same issue.
Hook it up gents.
Currently, Quick Steps can operate only on emails. I'd love it if they could work on Tasks as well.
Part of the equation for me is that I'm trying to achieve a seamless experience between Outlook and the To-Do mobile app. My ideal Quick Step would run:
1. Create a Task with text of message
2. Move Task to folder "_______"
3. Move email to folder "_______"
I'm trying to achieve the same outcome as Joris. Microsoft, I realize that, to achieve this, you'd have to A) make Quick Steps work on Tasks at all, and B) give the option (when creating a Quick Step) to specify whether an Action is to apply to 1) the email originally converted to a Task or 2) the Task created from the email. But seriously, I would love this!

In Outlook Today page, it displays Tasks from the default Tasks folder only. It will be helpful to enable adding Tasks from different folders as well similar to choosing different folders for displaying Messages.
