Provide a feature to allow editing of tasks from the viewing pane in Microsoft Outlook 2016 right from the pane instead of opening them in a separate window.
It would increase efficiency to be able to edit tasks in the Task Reading Pane without having to open the task in a new window first.
You can do this with mail - replies and forwards are able to be written in the reading pane. Would be great for Tasks aswell.
Allow text formatting or editing in subject of task

There should be more control availability for the assignee of the assigned tasks, not just the owner.
If I assign a task to an individual I should be able to
- recall it
- edit (subject line, add additional information)
- change due dates
It would also work if there was an option to keep the reply responses within the task so it can keep trail versus multiple separate emails.
I would also like the task to be be reassigned to the assignee once the task is complete. This could be an option feature. For example if the task is completed by the assigned then in my task folder I should have it then back on my task list as incomplete for me to do. This would be as simple as a notification within the tasks and not a separate email. It is difficult to track what I am waiting to have done and completed within a list of complete tasks and separate emails.
It would be great to be able to edit a task in the preview plane

This was a feature in previous versions; supposedly removal was "by design" Microsoft says. I want it back, too! Voted!
