Add meeting co-organizer in Outlook 2016
Add meeting co-organizer concept. This would enable someone to reschedule a meeting or change some details in situations when the organizer is out of office. This is not the same as giving someone permissions on the calendar as there might be different persons per each calendar item.
Not sure why Microsoft removed the functionality of having more than one organizer for a meeting. Please put this back.

Office 365: I would like an option to select the "Meeting organizer" role for one or more of the attendees in the Scheduling assistant (in addtion to the "Required attendee", "Optional attendee" and "Resource" roles).

I would like the option to add an agenda to a meeting that I do not own. I share the admin. assist position with another person and if she creates the invite but I do the agenda it is more work for everyone to be able to have the Agenda visible to all attendees. Thank you!
As the original meeting creator, you should be able to delegate the invite to someone else so they can make the changes to the invite going forward without having to cancel and recreate the invite

I would like the option to mark myself as just the meeting organizer. This would keep the appointments on my schedule (marked as Free Time). It would also help so that my schedule doesn't appear full of all the meeting I schedule for others. It would also help me identify which meetings I am supposed to attended. I don't have delegate access for everyone that I schedule for, so that option is not helpful.

Allow for a secondary organizer who can make changes to a meeting should the primary organizer be unbale to.

The idea is to allow for you to add additional meeting owners when sending out the invite. This would give the other owners the ability to add attendees, change the meeting time, and edit all of the information in general. This is often needed as staff move between projects, or a quick response is needed. The only current solution is to delete and recreate the invite.

Implementing RACI in meeting requests
Requestor should have the additioal feature to assign Contributor,Approver and Informed for every recipient
This would help to target right audience who effectively contribute for a meeting/discussion and also various other benefits like measuring the utilization of resources in meetings as a contributor
And also if i a recipient not available/tentative then he/she should select/forward to a person enabling as "deputizing"
As in todays world utilization on meetings is something which need to be seriously looked as several participants join because a meetings gets forwarded to them without knowing or realizing what role they are going to play
Also skype business integrated with outlook should give a view of participation % for every call based on contribution(voice)

Exactly what i am looking for. unbelievable this only has 54 votes... this has become a problem with recurrent meeting scheduled by employees that are terminated.
Yes!!!! we need this. We have a recurring event and when the event planner is out on vacation it is tough to get changes made.
Allow multiple hosts for a calendar event so more than one person can adjust the time/date, see who has RSVPd, etc

This feature, if implemented and made available, all users of Outlook will benefit from it. We badly needed it as we have two weekly calls for indefinite period, however, each month they are hosted by a different lead and that lead needs the ability to make changes to the invite for the month to suit his/her needs. Microsoft PLEASE add this to Outlook and Teams as well.
ability to assign a new host or organizer from the list of invitees. this would allow the origina organizer the ability to still have the meeting and another attendee can start the meeting.
Often times, multiple people or a committee are organizing events/meetings. It is burdensome to forward all information to the original meeting organizer to update the invite/attachments. A feature that enables others identified by the organizer to edit the event invite would be helpful.

This is feature is exactly what I would be looking for on top of an additional idea to go with it. It would be nice if one of the co-owners who run the meeting isn't able to make it a day is able to decline that instance. This then notifies and reminds the other owners that day that they need to attend and run the meeting.
If Bill Gates and the new President worked in the same industry and one of them went on vacation.
Bill Gates has scheduled a meeting and gone on vacation and does the new president need to take over the Bill Gates meeting as he would if Microsoft did not give the option of putting the new president as co-organizer of the Bill Gates meeting?
Ridiculo not have such an option.
Google has this option as Microsoft did not think about it.
There are lots of people requesting this feature and Microsoft can't implement and fix it.
What cardboard Microsoft.
It's should be a must!

There should be the option to transfer the role "meeting organizer" to another person without deleting and re-invitation.
