Add meeting co-organizer in Outlook 2016
Add meeting co-organizer concept. This would enable someone to reschedule a meeting or change some details in situations when the organizer is out of office. This is not the same as giving someone permissions on the calendar as there might be different persons per each calendar item.
Please ensure this integrates with Teams Meetings! It's inconvenient and looks bad when 80 people arrive to a Teams Meeting, only to find nobody there or that it has been re-hosted elsewhere.

As meeting organizer for a recurring meeting, I would also like to delete a meeting occurrence from my calendar when I am on vacation. Having co-organizer would allow the meeting to continue without me.
+10000 on this idea....please!! BADLY NEEDED AND OVERDUE!
With all the new features in Teams, especially the breakout room function. You have to be the organizer to use that. However, as a program manager sending calendar invites and not always attending those meetings, it's impossible for whomever is leading that meeting to use that feature. Please add the option to add additional organizers to a meeting soon!!!

Now that the Pandemic has impacted us to drive more online meetings, this is an absolute must. Assigning a "co-organizer" and the ability to assign a totally different host would be a common tool and function that many of us need as well as would use regularly.
Is this in the works? Please tell us this is an update or patch that will be able to be applied sooner than later!!

This would be very useful, especially when multiple people provide material for meetings and where the organiser tends to be an admin' person who will not be in attendance, and who could be on holiday the day that the meeting is carried out. We are a GP surgery who carry out multiple presentations and they all need setting up on the PC prior to our GPs getting to the room.
It's kind of mindblowing that this isn't possible. It is an essential function for teams. Please consider adding this.
Extremely important functionality for organizations.
It is very strange that a company like Microsoft has not yet started develop to help instead of complicating the situation of its customers.
Microsoft likes to keep developing easy and useless things like:
Read email (for lazy people)
Please make it happen 🙏
This is needed please

Please add this feature.

I am shocked that Microsoft hasn't added this feature already. The accuracy of our team's Outlook calendar is very important. Without the ability to update meetings, the calendar is misleading/wrong.
Enable the ability to add peers as Co-Organizers in Meetings so that if they will be hosting in your place and need to move the occurrence to a different day/time, they can do so without having to contact the meeting organizer.
This feature is desperately needed, and obviously in high demand. We have a weekly recurring meeting for three people that gets changed regularly for other commitments, and we constantly have to bug the organiser to move it when it would be much more efficient to have co-organiser status and be able to do it ourselves.
In a specific meeting, be able to add someone as an admin or organizer so that they can reschedule or cancel
Allow multiple people to have access to change a meeting/ recurring meeting if needed. Feature to allow multiple meeting hosts.
Teams Meetings in calendar. If you need to amend or add a meeting organiser, in the tracking section of a meeting give the original organiser the ability to change individuals attendence to a "Meeting Organiser". This would allow customisation to allow multiple organisers to open meetings/record meetings/download attendance trackers for Microsoft Teams meetings.
Both the Chair of the committee and the assistant organizing the meetings need to be able to see the RSVP information from their own outlook calendar to better keep track of who is coming to each meeting.

Allow meeting organizer to delegate proxy organizer access to a recurring meeting when organizer is off from work.
Make calendar items editable by another invitee, so that details can be added or edited by more than one person (who could potentially be outside the organization).
