Automatically notify meeting organizer of an expiring recurring meeting in Outlook 2016
It would be really nice for Outlook to let me know when my recurring meeting is about to expire – and then to dynamically update the meeting and notify attendees

This would help, it's a recurring problem happening not just to my meetings but many other users' meetings in the organization. Thank you!

This has become a BIG issue with WFM during COVID and beyond. So can Microsoft add this feature , please !

Great idea. This is something I would like to have so I do not miss that a meeting is no longer setup...

Please add this feature - this often leaves all parties confused when a regular meeting quietly disappears!

Any update on this feature? It would be fabulous; as an admin I have a TON of recurring meetings that I have to track their end dates to ensure they don't fall off of calendars.

Please add this feature. Users forget about the end dates on re-occurring meetings and booked resources. it would be a huge help.

Hi All,
We have a requests from our users for this feature and it will be critical for us to have this feature in the Outlook. MSFT can decide on the timeline of the prompt before recurring meeting is about to expire and have this feature enabled.

Send a 30-day advanced notice / reminder to all users who have a recurring meeting that is about to expire. That way if the meeting needs to be extended the user is informed and can make the necessary arrangements rather than losing track of it. (including booking conference rooms).

For the love of god please put this feature in, users aren't responsible enough to remember when their meetings end.

PLEASE add this feature! Some of our staff manage several meetings, and if they expire, either the room has been booked, people have already scheduled other things on their calendars, or both. It would be nice to set up an alert for 1 month before the recurring event occurs so that it can be set up again without skipping a beat.

When scheduling a recurring meeting, if the room/resource can only be booked for a certain number of occurrences or limited amount of time, it shouldn't allow you to set the meeting to go on beyond that. Also having it alert you when the recurrence ends and offer an option to re-book it. It's so frustrating when meetings "fall off" my calendar, or the meeting is there but the room is no longer booked.

This is especially important when scheduling a room so that you can keep your reservation. Most of the time it's to late when you realize a recurring meeting has ended.
