It's extremely frustrating how a very basic function does not work in Outlook 2016. Every time I receive an email, I have to first go to my contacts and see if that sender is already in my contact list. Otherwise, when adding from the email, Outlook will create a duplicate. And before anyone asks, YES, I do have the option "Check for duplicates when saving new contacts" checked!! It simply does not work! As a matter of fact, it should AUTOMATICALLY recognize the sender's email as someone from my contact list! If any smartphone can do that (recognize an incoming call as coming from someone in my contacts), why can't Outlook?

Enable the possibility to create a mailing list selecting all the adressee of a specific Mail.
sometimes a Mail is sent to a list of people, which later on are constituted as a working group on a specific project. It could be useful to have the possibility to create a mailing list starting directly from the first mail sent to the people -

Lync allowed for contacts to be copied and pasted from Outlook directly to a group. It would be helpful to have this same option in Skype.

Create the ability to share an email group from your contacts and have it show up in the address book when creating a new email.

I lost all of my Outlook Address Book contacts; but have many e-messages with groups of my contacts listed in the "to" and "cc" and "bcc" boxes. I would like to be able to select those names in batch from each "to" 'cc" and "bcc" boxes and add them back into my address book.

I just want to create a personal distribution list of contacts that will not know, 1) the name I have chosen for the distribution list, and 2) that they are in the group. Currently, all contacts are emailed to notify that they have been placed in a group AND the name of the group is also identified.

I have never created a contact group before. I would like to switch ISP's and contact ALL my contacts in a single email to give them my new email address.

You should add a quick step that will create and save a new contact from an email.

The usual way is to create and open a group before adding contacts. It would be helpful to also be able to choose contacts from the list of all contacts choose the group from a list and click on add.

When I send an email out to certain recipients, I want to be able to create a distribution list and/or a Skype list from everyone in the email. There should be an option to edit the list before saving just in case.

When I receive an email with multiple recipients I would like to be able to save them as a group in my contacts. I am on a lot of committees so this would be very handy to save the group contacts as a group to my contacts

Contact Groups do not show in Auto suggest of previously sent E-mails . It has to be pulled out each time by clicking the address book which is way time-consuming.

When adding a New Contact to My Contacts, it would be helpful to have an "Add to Contact Groups" option, which would open a list of all my Contact Groups, so that one Contact could be added to multiple Contact Groups.
Currently, I add a New Contact, save it. Then I have to open each individual Contact Group, select the appropriate My Contacts list, select Add Member, scroll to find the Contact name, double click to add, click OK, then Save & Close. This can be a 10 to 12-click process each time I add one Contact to one Contact Group and I need to add each new Contact to 12 Contact Groups. This is VERY time consuming in Outlook. This "Add to Groups" feature is available in many other common email applications, why not Outlook?
If a Contact is on one or more Contact Group lists, when the Contact record is open, the list of Contact Groups should be visible. In an existing Contact record, it would also be helpful to have an "Add to Contact Groups" option available (not just in "New Contact").

The group contacts are not showing on the Auto suggestion list. They have to be pulled out from address book each time increasing the workflow each time. once an E-mail has been sent to a group , it should pop up in suggested list of recent people next time. Thanks!
