Provide an option to set the Reminder pop-up to appear on top in Microsoft Outlook 2016
Provide an option to set the Reminder pop-up to appear on top in Microsoft Outlook 2016 to avoid missing any task or meeting.

This new option is now available for Office 365 Home, Office 365 Personal, Office 365 Business, and Office 365 ProPlus customers on Monthly Channel (Version 1803 or newer). For subscription customers on one of the Semi-Annual Channels, this option will become available after upgrading to Version 1808.
From Outlook, you can turn this on using File > Options > Advanced. Look for the “Reminders” section and check the box next to “Show reminders on top of other windows”.

This does not solve the problem if you're not using Office 365. We are using an exchange server, and I keep missing notifications. If I am not sitting at my desk at the exact time that the notification arrives, I miss it because it is now hidden behind whichever application happens to be open.

After decades of being conditioned to depend on my calendar events, meeting notifications to pop-up on my screen, I'm no longer getting them and missing important events. Thanks Microsoft.

Not blaming on Microsoft but I just lost business due to a hectic day of multiple tabs open on two screens, got caught up and missed a meeting. I might as well uncheck "Show reminders" and just make it a point to check my calendar every 15 min. This is only available in your cloud version/365? Please fix/add this to desktop exchange users.

I just contacted our IT department about this. He went to Run then typed outlook.exe /cleanreminders ...not sure if that will help everyone but when tested it brought the window to the forefront.

How can you say this is complete when you are saying it was added to a new version? How about correcting the version with the issue?

I guess I will have to forward my meeting requests to Google Calendar. What genius at Microsoft removed this functionality?

"This new option is now available for Office Insiders who upgrade to Build 9213.2031"
This should be the top admin comment, the Office 365 comment is off-topic. Also what about 2019?

WHY would you ever make this not an option.

Still not fixed in Outlook 2019. Very disappointing! I guess no one at Microsoft uses Outlook to remind them of their meetings. Or maybe they do and they keep missing the meetings where they were supposed to talk about this.

I miss meetings daily because I don't see any reminders. I might as well not have reminders. I need to keep my phone next to me to help me spot reminders - and it is not a reliable solution. Outlook 2013 / Windows 10. -pretty frustrating problem, and I would expect lots of users are in the same predicament.
