Provide an option to set the Reminder pop-up to appear on top in Microsoft Outlook 2016
Provide an option to set the Reminder pop-up to appear on top in Microsoft Outlook 2016 to avoid missing any task or meeting.

This new option is now available for Office 365 Home, Office 365 Personal, Office 365 Business, and Office 365 ProPlus customers on Monthly Channel (Version 1803 or newer). For subscription customers on one of the Semi-Annual Channels, this option will become available after upgrading to Version 1808.
From Outlook, you can turn this on using File > Options > Advanced. Look for the “Reminders” section and check the box next to “Show reminders on top of other windows”.

This idea was for Outlook 2016 - Not Office 365 and it has not been fixed for Outlook 2016. Please re-open this idea.

My computer has Windows 10 Pro and Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016. I cannot make my reminders/alarms come up on top of whatever other windows/files are open at that time. The previous version, on my Windows 7 computer, was able to have them always appear on top. This is my computer at work, so I cannot upgrade the software. The software does its own updates but not upgrades.

its Monday - I have missed or been late for 4 meetings today = I have a reminder hidden behind 348888 other open windows. I agree this might still be an outstanding feature rather than an Outstanding Feature!
Windows 2010 - Outlook 2016 - option set to "show reminder on top" and guess what....

I have the box checked and have rebooted, but it didn't do anything differently. The reminder window needs to stay on top of everything else that is opened in order for this to be useful.

Does exactly nothing, still no way to have a reminder actually pop-up and remind you of anything.

This is not completed. I am using Outlook 2016 and keep missing meetings. The notification needs to stay on top of ALL windows so that you dont forget.

Still missing calls and meetings and still waiting for a fix. Our IT dept won't let us install workarounds/hacks for the pop-under problem, but I'm thinking of adding a second calendar program with real pop-ups and duplicating my Outlook appointments on that program. More administration but at least I won't miss or be late!

Classic Micro$oft; ask them to fix something and they tell you to buy something new...that doesn't actually have the problem fixed.

A BLINKING reminder for appointments, not just a popup.

I face this so often that I wrote a simple program called OutlookRemindersOnTop will keep bringing the reminders window on top and also show a windows notification if it finds the window
Hope it helps and it works great for me if it helps you can download it from
https://1drv.ms/f/s!AmaHAXM9ZhPhaYN972FkhyTLHO8it requires .net 4.5 or 4.0 i can recompile it to 2.0 if there is interest.
