Provide an option to set the Reminder pop-up to appear on top in Microsoft Outlook 2016
Provide an option to set the Reminder pop-up to appear on top in Microsoft Outlook 2016 to avoid missing any task or meeting.

This new option is now available for Office 365 Home, Office 365 Personal, Office 365 Business, and Office 365 ProPlus customers on Monthly Channel (Version 1803 or newer). For subscription customers on one of the Semi-Annual Channels, this option will become available after upgrading to Version 1808.
From Outlook, you can turn this on using File > Options > Advanced. Look for the “Reminders” section and check the box next to “Show reminders on top of other windows”.

Hiding meeting pop-ups behind other windows is just not acceptable. What is user supposed to do have a dedicated PC just for Outlook 2016?

Please I am begging you. Please. I miss meetings all the time. I’m worried I’m going to lose my job. I have autism, and with my hyperfocus, I will never be able to see the color change in the task bar. My company will never use cloud based services. This is the only thing keeping me from succeeding. The anxiety this is causing me is through the roof. I am begging. Please add this to office 2016

Providing this feature in Office 365 is not a fix for Office 2106 users who have option or desire to move to office 365 e.g due to corporate IT policy. Fix the issue, don't just point us to an alternative product.
Marking the issue closed and blocking further votes is a joke as the issue was that the feature isn't available specifically in Office 2016 and that hasn't been fixed

Should make this feature available for Outlook 2016 customers too as this is a basic calendar feature.

Can we please add this to the desktop version? My company doesn't have 365 and won't get it. You're killing me.

The 'Fix' doesnt work all the time, can we just have an option to link these to the win10 notification centre

Nice! Only took a decade of the richest engineers on the planet to come up with a simple checkbox to provide necessary business functionality in a business product.
Never let a software engineer convince you they are smarter than you.

With the COVID-19, this just became an even bigger deal for me. Other people working next to me are bothered by beeping - so I have to keep audio notifications off. I NEED A BIG WINDOW IN MY FACE WHEN IT'S TIME FOR AN IMPORTANT MEETING!!! And yes, I am SHOUTING at this point. And no, I do not get to tell IT which version of Outlook they will install for me.

Create an option to make Outlook reminders much more visible. I have serious ADD and I am constantly missing meetings because I don't notice the miniscule pop-ups. I need something large, loud, and colorful. (If I were visually or hearing impaired, I imagine you'd take this seriously, so I hope you take it just as seriously, as my disability is just a much of an impairment.)

Please. this is pathetic.
your answer to win 2016 request is 'use a different product'. -

My small company, only 100K employees, manages my computer.
We have 2016, NOT 365, so please contact our ceo to help get this changed.
or converly, give outlook developers time to restore something that was a good feature, but removed. Also, below comments suggest 365 implementation does not put popup on top. So do better than 365...

Why can't I vote for this?

This is extremely frustrating, why remove a feature, just add an on/off switch instead. I miss so many reminders because of this & I have Office 2013, so it's been an issue for many years. We don't want nor use Office 365, so making it available in that is not useful.

I have Office Standard 2016 and there is no such option "File > Options > Advanced. Look for the “Reminders” section and check the box next to “Show reminders on top of other windows”."

After I check the "Show reminders on top of other windows" it remains below other windows. How do I fix that?

The reminder window will appear ONLY at the original reminder time period; if I snooze the reminder it does not reappear in a separate window unless another reminder's original reminder time passes.
I see in the Outlook status bar "Reminders: 1" but a snoozed reminder does not generate a popup box despite the "Show Reminders" and "Show Reminders on top of other windows" boxes being checked in Outlook options. I do hear a sound when the reminder is generated... but this is not enough since I mute volume at work.
For what it's worth, I simultaneously use Teams. That at least helps me identify when a meeting has started.
The reminder feature is absolutely invaluable to any calendar user, we need it to work again!

Hmm. How to improve Office 365? Roll it back to Outlook 2013. I'm looking for another email client now.

It's not completed. Provide an option for Outlook Reminders to stay on top of all Windows in Microsoft Outlook 2016

Still rubbish. Notifications are so easily missed, they are a liability. I use my google account to store work reminders instead. Sort it out.
