insert "like" function and notification to acknowledge the email receipt and respond as web version to reduce unnecessary tons of acknowledging receipt mails.

The 'Thumbs up' is nice, it's an acknowledgment to the sender that I've seen the email, maybe agree or like what they've said. But it doesn't allow me to show that I understand what they're saying or care.
Yes yes emails can be sent to say how I feel or that I empathise, but as we're coming to the end of a conversation it would be nice to click a 'Heart' to show that I care about what they've said and empathise/sympathise with what has been said.
Just a thought, a 'Heart' I feel would be a nice addition.

some emails do not require a full reply, but it would be great if you could send a "like" or "ack" somehow by just clicking a button. Unless this already exists and i do not know where that feature is.

A quick way to show approval or agreement is a thumbs up button that is available for email in outlook in the web client, but the desktop version doesn't have this option. Please add it.

Provide a 'like' icon on emails as this will avoid us sending ''ok'' or ''noted'' or ''agreed'' replies. it will surely save us from receiving more emails throughout the day. This icon is already available on the online version of Outlook Mail but I cannot find it on the desktop version of Outlook Mail.

The like button that is there on Outlook for the web should also be there in Outlook for windows.

This absolutely must happen. Add "like," "thanks," "acknowledged," "favorited" options. It would so reduce the number of emails flowing through my email box!

Similar to a social media post or what is done through Teams. Enable the ability for recipients to like and heart an email send.

I used to have the web-based version of Outlook and was able to 'like' emails and would also be able to view when someone 'liked' my emails. I now have the client-based version and I do not see that same function available nor do I get 'liked' notifications.

Just like you would like, heart, dislike, etc. a text message, it would be a great feature to add to emails. Instead of having to reply back to an email a simple answer like got it or just the acknowledgment you could just like the email letting the other user know that you received and acknowledged their message by the click of a button. Feature would be great to use in the Outlook application as well as the web version.
