Provide an option to add translation support of emails from different languages for email, calendar. tasks etc. in Microsoft Outlook 2016
Provide an option to add translation support of emails from different languages in Microsoft Outlook 2016 for added functionality.
Like while typing in English, make available Spanish accents and symbols. Similarly, Free/busy Outlook info in French.
When creating a meeting, the option to set free/busy status as (English) “Free, Working Elsewhere, Tentative, Busy, Out of Office” is translating “Working Elsewhere” to “En deplacement” in French (English for “Moving”).
It should say “Travaille Ailleurs” (working elsewhere).

I prefer to translate Emails from different languages to English as soon as I open the mail. Could this feature be added or enabled?

I use to write in different languages and I would like the ability to easier switch the language as the detection is often late or even flawed. In Word i can do it in the status bar. I miss something similar when writing a mail directly in Outlook. Thanks.

I changed my operating system language to be English, since I sometimes present my screen to other people, which do not understand my native language. Outlook respects this setting and adapts the UI to be in English as well.
However, Outlook does not change the folder names, e.g. the folder which is supposed to be named "Sent" is called "Gesendet" on my machine. Furthermore, I can't rename it.
Sure, this is moaning at a high level, but it would be great if the whole application handles the language setting consistently. -

In a globalized world the language barrier can cause many people to feel left behind. Microsoft Translator is doing wonders and its add-on in Outlook works very well, but it would be awesome if we could have the possibility to simply setup our language preferences, choosing in which language we want to read our e-mails and than any e-mail that reaches our inbox would be shown in our native language, no matter if they were originally written in English, French or Mandarin.

You have a circle to show who sent an email.
In many languages names DO NOT follow the pattern NAME MIDDLENAME SURNAME. In Spanish, for instance, we have NAME (some times SECOND NAME) SURNAME1 SURNAME2.We are getting initial letters for (N)(S2). Excuse me.... surname 1 is not a middle name. Wouldn't it be great to have them (N) (S1) or even better (N) (S1) (S2)?
Thanks

Need a In-Built Language Translator or an API with Google/Microsoft Language Translation Services.

Need a native translation solution directly in Outlook. Both incoming and outgoing emails. The Microsoft Translator addin is a start but for outgoing it is far from an Enterprise ready solution (opens in a browser). 3rd Party solutions are weak at best. Odd that other services are getting translation support but the main application I would think most people uses is Outlook and there is no real solution here.

When a name is translated there is often not a standard way to write it. This makes it difficult to locate a person's contact in the system. For example the Hebrew name, יצחק, can be translated Isaac, Yitzchak, Izik, Itsak and another twenty ways.
Another option would be allowing the name search to happen in the original language, Hebrew in this case.

Please bring back the quick translate option to Office 365. This was previously available in Office 2010 and very useful to me.

Add a new feature to "Always Translate" in Outlook Desktop application. This option is available only in Outlook Online under Settings > General > Mail > Message handling > Translation > Always translate
