I'm not looking to sort and view emails I'm looking to sort a list of first and last names with their email addresses that were put into a special contact group. Within that special contact group I need to put them in alphabetical order showing last name first. I have 87 names and manually alphabetizing them is going to be quite a feat!! If this new 365 outlook is suppose to be an upgrade from the old, it is not working. This is NOT USER FRIENDLY. GO BACK TO THE OLD OUTLOOK!!!!

In a group (formerly a DL), names are automatically sorted by Display Name (usually by first name), with no option to sort by last name or email, etc. It make it difficult to check the list for errors, when you can't control the sort method within a group. If you change the display name in all your contacts, it will be reflected in a group and sorted that way; however, this permanently changes the display name in your contacts, which we DON'T want.

Please can we have a method of arranging Email addressees in alphabetical order, last name as at the moment they are hard to check if duplicated since they are all jumbled. Also very difficult to find people in the People category because of the present system.

Please revert to the legacy SORT feature in the Outlook inbox. The new ALL feature adds additional steps to what was once a simple and efficient means to sorting the inbox.

Agreed. This used to be part of the "home" view.

I send to large numbers of recipients - please allow to sort the recipient list. The issue shows especially when using multiple DLs and expanding them - there is currently no order to the names listed which makes it difficult to check for missing or unnecessary addressees.
