Yes please. It would be nice if the sticky notes appear in the Desktop background when you launch the Outlook 2016 app or permanently even when the app is closed.

In the event of an important announcement that you do not wish to be lost in a user's inbox, allow the message to be delivered as a sticky so that it always appears at the top of their mailbox. Perhaps allows it to expire as a sticky after a period of time and give the recipient to acknowledge and remove the sticky/pinned message.

Agree with Leonie. A Post It type note would be perfect; a very useful tool.

In Outlook 2016 have a way to "star" a message as important so that you can quickly locate it again. Much the same way that Gmail has a star feature. In this way you can still keep the message in the folder that you want to store it in but it will also appear in the "Starred" list.

to be able to attach a sticky note into an email with comments ie what you have done with it, what needs to be done
Make it look like a post it note in which we would use in the paper world.
Perhaps when you wave over header & summary on right it flashes up like a comment would in excel.
Hard to keep track of emails need a prompt..... -

Put the time that the email was sent back. It helps to pin point an email when you get a hundred per day

It would be really useful if outlook had speech bubble/text box/sticky notes sort of thing where you can write notes/ comments on each email, like "speak to so and so" or "things to chase up".
As well it would be good if you could change the name/title of the emails so you can organise better, I know you can search for specific emails in the search collum at the top however if you can name the titles of the email and then in a light grey small print underneath, just saying who its from.

Merely looking for a way to fix a comment to a read email (like a sticky note) without having to re-read the email to recollect those thoughts that were formed after the first reading. The sticky note comments would be for my eyes only & not capable of being sent in a reply or forwarded email action.
Sometimes, comments that we might affix to a document serves as a better way (short cut notice) to inform ourselves of how we may wish to respond to the content of that document. Sometimes such notation can be more useful to us than assigning the document to a category. If I revisit the email a week later or a month later, the note that I made and affixed to the email informs me of concerns I formed from the body (content) of the email. Each personal note affixed to any email can be worded to say something different.

Just add a simple Sticky Note to a received E-mail. As simple as that. I just want to receive a E-mail, click on a button and a sticky note appears on the E-mail window. It seems so easy.
It´s very useful to be able to write our first thoughts in the received E-mail. -

Provide a tool that allows you to make notes associated with an email. IE. "Waiting for support to get back to me before responding"

I wish the follow-up reminders that I tag on Outlook emails could include a notes section. This would help with adding details I need to remember when I follow-up at a later date.
Thank you,

Provide an option to allow sticky notes in emails. The goal is to add different quantities of notes in an email. The idea is allow to put comments, opinions or something to remind you what happen with that email, or why your recivied or sent this. Thunderbird has an add-on to use in the emails, I would like you copy this. Thanks a lot.

Please, please add the option of adding a note to an email - along the lines of a sticky note. (More than just flagging for follow-up etc) This would be SO useful!!

A feature to stick a note to a mail would be great.
The Ctrl + T feature just makes the account more confusing. -

Please add something like a sticky note that you can insert or attach to an emails that you've received/read so that you can record any action you've taken on that email. E.g., if you call someone in response to email, you can make a record on the email that you responded to the email by calling, record the date and time of the call, and what was discussed. There's not really a way to do this now.
