Full support for shared mailboxes/calendars
Shared mailboxes/contacts/calendars should be fully integrated.
The calendar should pop up notifications as well as for new mail in shared inboxes.
When creating a new email, the from address should be easily selected, and shared addresses should auto complete. shared contacts should be fully editable. etc. Also It would be useful to be able to share a birthday calendar.
Also, there should be ability to view shared calendars in iOS native calendar also. Additionally an option to share my calendar with someone who had a gmail account that is out of the network I have on Outlook.
I have a shared calendar that I want to make my default so meeting requests will go to this one.
I'd like to be able to change a setting in Outlook Shared Calendars so that it does not require sending invites to the group whenever an event/appointment is added to the calendar.
On outlook.office365.com, when adding an item to the shared calendar there is a radio button that gives you the option to "Send invitation to the group", but in the Windows version there is not an option like this.

When an email that is set to 'Private' is sent to a shared mailbox, it will not show in the local client but it will do when accessing that same shared mailbox through the portal. I was told that this is to avoid everyone with access to the shared mailbox from seeing the email but if that is the case, it should just be sent to the people directly. It does not make sense why this is set by design. We should not have to check the shared mailbox online for emails that we wouldn't have otherwise received.

As noted in the below article, Outlook 2016 caches shared folders (e.g. shared mailboxes, calendars etc) based on the slider window of the primary account. This is great as it reduces the OST file size, which can potential help reduce corruption, performance issues, etc. However, it doesn't allow you to retrieve more from the server, which causes usability when content is needed passed the cache window. What would be more desirable is to allow an option to Click a button to retrieve more from the servers like what is available in the primary account.
Create email rules in shared mailboxes as in an individual mailbox.
Is there a way to view the entries from the shared mailbox in the to-do list on the right hand corner of the outlook screen. Currently the To-Do Bar doesn’t offer this level of flexibility. It will only show you upcoming appointments which reside in the default Calendar.

Support shared/additional mailboxes both on PC and Mobile.
If i subscribe to a Internet calendar, i want the ability to merge it's contents into my primary calendar, and continue to have it update as new events added to the internet calendar feed. That way my time is marked as unavailable when my colleagues/family etc view my calendar. I don't want to have multiple calendars for each internet subscription, or an overlay view as then only i can see it, and my colleagues or family are unable to. I want a single calendar option that can then be shared.
Please make an option available, which let us search within all Outlook-Elements, INCLUDING a shared mailbox.
So when i'm on my primary mailbox and i'm searching something and this setting is activated, Outlook should search also in my shared mailboxes.
I tried the option "download shared folders" but it's still not working.

Currently I share calendars at work. But, other user's color schemes are showing in my calendar view. Right now in Week or Work Week view the entire background is purple and there is no way to change it. Please give the ability to have your settings override another user's view settings if you choose to. It may take adding a "Background Color" option because currently I'm unsure how someone has made theirs purple.

By default, Outlook will only display notifications for the Inbox folder on accounts that Outlook is signed into. This does not include non-Inbox folders or any folders on mailboxes opened as a delegate.
A workaround exists for non-Inbox folders on primary accounts (by configuring a rule to display alerts for folders other than the Inbox), but mailboxes opened as a delegate do not have an alternative.
At the least, there should be an option to replicate the same default notification functionality (notifications on Inbox only) for delegate mailboxes.

In our team we all have an O365 mailbox and calendar. I have shared calendars with several teammembers. In outlook on the deskto we can access eacht other calendar, crud-calendar items, but we have not found a way to do that on a mobile device.

We a user turns off the read (preview) pane on a shared mailbox, it changes the view on all the users who also use this mailbox. Please disable this to allow each user to have their own view. Do not sync read pane settings.
There are too many issues with Office 2016. not really a finished product.
BTW, where is the feedback option? Ideas only?????

In Outlook desktop (2010 - 2016 at least) all a user's shared mailboxes automatically show up and start downloading emails. Kind of nice, but there needs to be some manual element, at least to allow the user to manually Close/remove the Shared mailbox from showing in Outlook (and hence spending time and space downloading all the mail) but by still keeping it shared, so the user can go online for example and look at the account when they want to.
In the Outlook web app, you have to manually add a Shared mailbox and you can manually close it too. That same process ought to be used in Desktop version.
It can be remove using powershell now but its very troublesome for IT to remove every single user

Modify/View shared calendars from mobile clients as well. Delegates and co-workers are unable to see and manage availability from o365 calendars on mobile outlook apps. But can from free outlook.com?

The current default behavior is to add meeting notices to the default email account calendar. I want to be able to specify which calendar (email account) that I want the event to added. It seems that the documented behavior of using the send to address to determine the email account(calendar) is not working when I have five separate O365 connectioins.

This is a known bug / issue only found in Outlook 2016 upsetting numerous paying users.
Currently shared mailboxes cache in their entirety, which for larger mailboxes is problematic. Please add a slider to adjust how many months you want to sync/cache, similar to how it is for regular mailboxes.
