Rule Option for Email Volume in Outlook 2016
A rule/message alert would be nice for when you get a certain number of emails a day that automatically get sorted into folders. For example:
- When a folder receives a certain number of emails in a day by rule.
- When a folder gets past a certain number of emails total.
- When someone sends you a certain number of emails a day.
- When a rule gets triggered a certain number of times in a day/week.
Outlook would Greatly benifit from a Automatic Rules and Sub Folder creation.
Email overload is ever present and taking time to structure the rules and folders is a bothersome and "unnecessary" task that can and should be automated.
it would also massively differentiate outlook within the market and add massive value to the user base
Outlook 2003 would show the number of new emails arriving (next to the send/receive progress bar) when I opened the program each day. This was helpful to me because some of my messages go to sub-folders. Knowing the total of brand new emails tells me whether I need to search sub folders, or whether all of the new emails are simply in my Inbox that day.
outlook nhas a huge bug - programmer bug. - in hte area of multipe device as well in the past. forthe program the rusels have to check on the NEW donwloaed items when conect tot he mail boxs.
se all from last connection time stamp email as new and apply the rules ot it.
not only on the unread once
