Improve the CREATE RULE feature in Outlook
The rules is a great feature in Outlook however I would like to classify my rules by domain names also. So for eg: if I receive an email from @yahoo or @gmail, I can select emails that contain such domain and put in a folder.

Like the original idea sharer, I want to more easily create generic rules rather than redirecting a specific email sender to a folder, I want to move everything from a domain to a folder to make sorting bills, clients, etc. much less tedious. Right now, here is what I have to do: 1) Right-click an email, Rules > Create Rule. 2) Check "From <emailer>" and "Move item to folder". 3) Select Folder. 4) Click Advanced. 5) Click From, then double-click from address again. 6) Copy domain of email address. 7) Cancel, cancel. 8) Uncheck "From <emailer>" and check "with specific words in sender's address". 9) Click "specific words" link. 10) Past email domain and click Add, then OK. 11) Next, Next, Next. 12) Check "Run this rule now...". 13) Finish.
VERY tedious! Please Improve!

Allow users to set a specific background color on mail rules. It is a faster way of identifying people and key subjects than just adjusting the font, size and color.

There should be a search feature in the rules management module. I have dozens of rules and it's tedious to scroll through the list to find a rule that I want to edit. Also make it easier to re-arrange rules. In general, the rules tool needs improvement.

There is a way to adapt the rule to be "if sender's address contains" and you can add "@business.com" to the list.
Can't remember how to get to this as I'm not at work and use a proper email client at home. lol -

When creating new rules on outlook, it gives the basic conditions and not allowing to easily utilize other criteria like with specific words in the sender's address since as a User we sometimes move email from one domain to a specific folder.

Update Rules. Allow me to sort rules alphabetically, sort by last used, create multiple rules without having to save inbetween; remove space limitations; make it faster to upload rules to servers

sometimes I may receive automatic sending emails from some websites such as some cloud services. I don't want to be interrupted by such emails. please provide easy rule settings for such conditions. thus these emails can be muted.

in rules - not just a date frame, but a time frame as well i.e do not automatically print outside of work hours.
(printer is setting off alarm)- plus this stupid set up of posting new ideas, took my keyword rules and kept sending me to similar ideas sent and stopped me posting this new idea, needs a way to get round that.

Use the to: email address as the default name of a new folder created to handle email for a "mail to address" rule.
Or have a server side setting that can populate these folders and rules automatically.
