Make 'today' stand out more in the calendar
I don't like the way 'today' is highlighted in the calendar in Outlook Outlook 2016: a thin line at the top of the day, in the same color as the calendar. It's hard to see and blends in with appointments that are not categorized.
Add an option to overlay color on the today's column of today's events.
Or when clicking on the calendar, it would be nice if TODAY was at the top of month view, not the bottom. I want to see the next coming days of schedules, not the past without having to scroll every time.
Thank you for providing a clear signal that we should improve how we highlight “Today” on the calendar.
We are planning to make this update in Outlook for Office 365 subscribers. We will post a subsequent status update when this is available for you to use in Outlook.
Thank you very much for your feedback. Please do keep making suggestions and voting on others’ suggestions to help us improve the product.

Looking forward to this fixture a lot! Would be great if for example the 'today's' column would be accentuated by a slightly deviating colour from the other days of the week columns.
Evidenziare il giorno corrente in modo che si possa vedere con piu facilità nello scorrere delle date (sopratutto nella visualizzazione mese).
per lo meno aggiungere questa opzione di visualizzazione!
Please, do it!!!
I commonly view my calendar in the "Work Week" mode. I would like to customize the background color of the entire column and/or a distinct frame around the column for "Today". Please add this soon!

I Agree Sven!

dittos. This is what happens when you let people design software who are more concerned about aesthetics than productivity. i'd like a nice big red circle around the current date.
I have missed important meetings, or joined the wrong ones because the days look the same. The current day should be highlighted to ease readability and limit the number of errors.
Desperately need this feature. Cannot believe they have been sitting on this one for years!
This is really needed!
I would also like to see the day highlighted appropriately
Microsoft incompetence always amazes me
One option would be to make the line that appears in the week view change for the current day (e.g. make it dashed elsewhere but solid on the current day) - that would quickly show the date and time and tell me what meetings I have coming up.

Seems like a common sense feature to be able to pick background color or something for today(). Let's get with the program.
Heute ist sehr schlecht erkennbar
Kallender von "Heute" ist wirklich schlech zu sehen, Eigene Eistellungsmöglichkeit z.B. als Bedingte Formatierung währen Hilfreich.
Come on Microsoft, why do we even have to ask for this basic feature? At least put this in as an option for your customers. The thin line at the top of the day does NOT stand out.
You wouldn't believe the number of mistakes I've made related to how little 'today' stands out. It has repeatedly been the source of me humiliating myself amongst colleagues. It is one on the list of behaviours which makes me loathe Outlook.

I just cannot fathom why UI designers take away features that already existed. Or, refuse to put in a simple change that makes sense and a lot of people want. Why????
This is long overdue and definitely needed.
* Put today's date in a reverse color scheme.
* Use a thicker border on the current day's cell.
