Have both a Skype meeting and conference room for meeting invites
When scheduling meetings there are occasions where we have both a conference room for local attendees and a Skype Meeting invite for remote attendees. It would be useful to be able to add both and have those show correctly in the body and location of the meeting invite along with the Date, Time and location that stands out.
Alternatively, when meeting rooms are not available currently, I would love a feature where as a user I can specify a set of rooms and provide meeting date and time and in background, Outlook can watch these rooms and book on my behalf as any room becomes available.

If I need to have a conference ID and phone number for people in an email chain to call, I go to the calendar, open a new meeting, click the Skype Meeting button, and copy/paste that information into the email.

Hmm... not sure why this was merged as this speaks total different idea. My idea was to help organizer to find correct room based on the capacity. Is this the way of decreasing amount of ideas or did I explained my idea total wrong for you? :)
Also about the original idea, isn't that already fixed? At least on my outlook when I schedule meeting with online and physical, I can see both locations on the invitation.
If you schedule multi location meeting, then of course next innovation is to ask Microsoft to make Outlook to check the expected location of the participants from address part (ok, not for non corporate participants) and then match the room's capacity and expected participants.
What comes to online joiners and physically joiners, this we cannot affect when meeting is scheduled. But this is the case where either you know before how many they come physically and for that there is a custom field you could add "8 participants". Or you need to do the booking manually.
But basically, I feel that this would be nice help for organizer especially in organizations where you have multiple (tens) rooms.
No doubt, the comment came from Anonymous, if the participants could reply "Accepted Physically" or "Accepted Online", that would be also a great help. Especially if organizer expecting lot of people to join physically and has reserved large conference room and food, to just noticed that 27 of 30 joins online. That kind idea should be raised as well !

In the Exchange you can define capacity on your room mailbox by:
set-mailbox -ResourceCapacity 10 -identity Confroom123
Above command set capacity for the "ConfRoom123" to 10. How cool it would be if on Outlook you book the room for nine persons, and by default Outlook counts recipients, but you could also customize that and then it find the next available room for you automatically. But also so, that it will not show you a rooms where capacity is only six.
Isn't this something we should already have in 2018?

Milti-location Calendar Invites - Add capability for Calendar Invites to have two acceptance options based on location (1 for in-person, 1 for phone). Recipients would accept for one or the other so that meeting organizers could know who would be joining via phone and who in person (useful when navigating changing schedules, conference room sizes, and knowing how much food/beverage to provide).

This should give how many will come physicaly and how many have accepted by Skype.

In Outlook Desktop client I think that if you receive a meeting invite that the Date and Time should be the most prominent thing in the UI. As it sits right now there is a small section that shows your calendar and the meeting placed on the calendar but date/time and location are in a very small font. When you receive a invite in gmail the body of the email shows date time in large print along with location and if you are busy on the calendar. This is a desktop application and I feel you should be able to easily see the date right next to the senders name in a font larger than 12pt so you can easily see when/where the meeting is.

Update Outlook to evaluate meetings and determine instances where two meetings are scheduled at the same time which use the same Skype Conference ID.
As meetings are created or re-scheduled, instances arise where the same Skype Conference ID is designated for two separate meetings.

Using Outlook at work to manage meetings etc is great , but what I end up doing is having to email people separately to ask if they will be attending the meeting face to face or if they would be dialing in ( WEBEX).
If there is a tick box within the "accepting invite" function for " Dialing In" at the very least that will be great

Enabling attendees to rsvp and indicate whether they will attend in person or remotely helps with planning.

Join Online button for External Meetings, when an internal user creates a Skype Meeting, your get a "Join Online" button in the meeting reminder. However when a external party has scheduled a Skype Meeting the button is missing.
