Option to Customize the Office Applications themes independently.
It would be nice if we could customize the color scheme / look and feel of the office apps independently of each other. I like my word in dark theme but One Note and Outlook in their respective colors. Now you have to choose one look wholesale for the whole system which seems strange.
Also, please add a ‘Classic Office’ Theme to render all office products in their default themes from 2003/2007/2012.

In the month view, it's nearly impossible to read the week numbers because they are too dark.

I would love to be able to change the color of the theme without being changed in the rest of the Office suite programs. Would it be p
The new layout of outllook is hard to get used to. I miss the coloured layout of my older version instead of all being in white with black font.
In Outlook, the "Black" Office Theme has so much contrast from the written words to the background that it makes it ******* the eyes to read. Consider using a less bright (gray) font coloring, and same goes for the lines in the email list; they're too distinct, make them less in your face by using a darker gray color.
i would like to change my wallpaper in outlook
There should be a way to skin MS outlook and office 2016. I find the new interface to be very difficult to read, as well as experiencing more lag relative to MS outlook 2010. The paltry offering of theme colors does not help the situation. The look and feel of this product is awful from a practical standpoint and reduces productivity. Please make skins available for users wishing to revert the interface back to the outlook 2010 look.
let people customize the look of office 2016. No colour blind settings, no folder look/feel settings. Back to regedit or 3rd party app?
For those of us who are colourblind the flagging system for e-mails and tasks, is almost useless.
There is no need to have a greyed out flag icon to show that the item hasn't been flagged. Just don't have anything. It's actually quite difficult to tell the difference between a grey, green one or a red one when they're only about 2mm square.
My suggestions as follows:
The flag should be much bigger, make it possible to just fill the cell with a colour.
Available colours need to be fully customisable.
Default unflagged status shows nothing, no icon, no colour.
Every now and then my office theme changes and I have to discover how to change it back. it is a waste of time.

Remove the grey to white gradient on vertical scroll bars - it's very hard to use them when their background color turns white
The ability to change the background to colors other than white black or gray. when a new email comes in, the font color is blue; we should be able to change that our desired color
The office themes are too arbitrary and you will never appease everyone. Allow the various components of the theme to be customized by color \ font \ etc. This should be similar to customizing the Windoze experience where the title bar, ribbon bar, reading panes, etc can be changed.

Would like to keep the Colorful theme for the header / title bars in the apps, but would like to use the Black or Dark Grey for the main window and other content in the apps. Need the ability to customize / choose what theme is applied where.
I agree !!!the word and outlook blues are too similar and I need them to be different - very annoying..
The continued reduction of customization options built in of all Microsoft products in general, but in this case in particular Outlook and Office, has been a sore spot for me. It seems each edition reduces options and forces a user to use a program in a specific way. None of the theme options in office are easy on the eyes. There is absolutely no reason to limit visual customization this way.
In short, there needs to be a way to create custom themes
Bring back the Office 2010 method of theme creation/mangement. Seriuosly... hiw hard is that?
They put a man in the moon in 1969.... surely you can do what i want
I cannot see the WORD application properly with my bad colour perecetion and the appalling restricted colour choices . Office 2003 was SO MUCH BETTER.
I need to be able to change the text an background color, font etc. of all the areas just like I could in 2003.
Look is too Cartoony! Let us have "Professional" option to change theme to something more formal
Additionally what I am missing is differentiation of File Tab in Office Theme - Colorful. In White it has different color but in Colorful all have the same (same problem in Grey and Black)

Improve the overall usability of office 2016 by giving options to shade and configure different operational areas. For example, title bar is th same as menu bar; the entry boxes at the top of th inbox are just white and visually merge into the inbox. Higlight bar is too faint. Header in reading pane is visually th same as th actual content. Settings dialogs are all grey - difficult to see if options/checkboxes are available or not. Compared to Office 2010, this is more visually stressful and less easy to be productive.
