Option of right-click menu in the Calendar section of the To Do bar In Microsoft Outlook 2016.
Provide the ability to right-click on any of the scheduled items listed in the Calendar section of the To Do bar in Outlook 2016. It takes an extra 3-5 steps to do the same thing that used take a single right-click. It will be really great if the following options are also added in the right click : Join Skype meeting, Accept, Tentative or Decline, Reply, Reply All or Forward, Mark Private, Show As or Categorize the meeting, start a linked OneNote session or delete the item without switching over to the Calendar.

Does anyone know if this has been directed to the proper channel at MS? Seems silly to complain about it in the ether if no one is listening. Agree it is completely nuts that this great functionality was removed with no replacement or improvement. It just cannot be that there isn't an engineer at MS that doesn't miss this function. It was too simple and now takes multiple actions to accomplish the same.
This is a backward improvisation. Everyday I have to waste time to navigate the calendar. Must be someone genius who thought removing a useful feature would add value.

This really needs to be brought back.

Three years on and this has not been addressed ? This is absolutely ridiculous.

Please please bring this functionality back! I find myself mis-stepping trying to do this every day! It was very useful in previous versions of Outlook.
you had the feature in previous versions, which made life easier, as one could finish organizing invitations within the same view. Now you want us to open each item, or go to the calendar view to select one by one and respond?!
Who was the genius UI designer, who thought this was an improvement?!

I often find myself right clicking upcoming meetings to categorize or accept the meeting and am always disappointed when no context menu appears. I'd love to see this implemented.
This was a critical feature for productivity; as the inventors of the right click, I would think Microsoft would do all possible to continue to promote its use!
Just select the item and use the ribbon button instead of right click.
(right click was better)
Downright idiotic and aggravating to remove this feature.
This is regression.... what was the logic removing this feature ? please share if anybody knows?

Most of the time I have no real need for the Month Calendar that comes with the To-Do bar's calendar object, but I do want my day's schedule at the ready. The calendar wastes a lot of space, I get that some people want it, but we should have the option to turn it off and just have all our existing events for the next few days listed out.

Agree this would be a big help to have this feature re-enabled
Terrible idea to remove this functionality!
Why, just why?
I can't believe how Microsoft takes one step forward and two steps back.
Restoring this feature which many users found helpful is taking Microsoft four years now. Unbelievable!
What a stupid idea to remove this feature. Wondering if Microsoft employees ever used MS outlook. How come this basic functionality was never tested and rolled out.
right click feature on the To-do bar is a must! Meeting editing and replying is so much more painful now.
As it was available in Outlook 2010 I was able to right click and interact (accept etc) meeting invites from my inbox to-do bar. It is not available in Outlook 2016 and it really slows me down.
Please add this back in... this was such a productive item to be able to right click on the calendar item. Should have never been removed.

Right-click is much needed feature to speed-up daily routines. Let's make right-click great again.
