I also miss the functionality to add a smiley.

A lot of email comes through on a daily basis that does not require an entire response (mostly to say 'OK' or 'got it', or a smiley faced response in a lot of cases). It would be great to have the ability to attach an emoticon to the 'message preview' pane for each message, instead of having to respond back. Similar to the feature available on instant messages on Teams.

Smileys are already supported when writing a new email in Outlook for MS Outlook 365 on desktop, but there's no option on the ribbon to insert one easily. Can't believe I'm having to use an external website like https://emojipedia.org/ to lookup and copy the smiley from there to use in my email in 2019 .. seriously? 😑
I want to track things with a sticker in the calendar as motivation. Emojis would even work. Have a set of icons that we can place on a day or allow us to insert our own icons.
Ability to insert emoji or emoticons stickers like Birthday Cakes for Birthday's, Hearts for Date Nights, Red Cross for doctor appointments etc.
Typing out appointments is fine but for some people, looking at your agenda and (as an example) seeing a red cross automatically tells I have a doctor appointment.
Using symbols for events is an easy way of knowing what is on your agenda at a glance. This can also add a fun element to keeping a calendar current.

Allow for a very simple user interface with 256 colour pallete to design emoticons that can be used to personalise messages. Kids would love it and it would get them away from txt speech and back to using email and real words.

I would like to be able to post a smiley now and again on my emails.
There are no emojjis available on Outlook anymore.
Add the ability to insert graphical emoticons to email text or word. Add the function to the insert ribbon as * insert emoticon *.
