Integrate Tasks and Email with Office 365 Planner or Intergrate Microsoft Planner to Tasks in Outlook
Take tasks or email from Outlook and send them directly to Planner, Office 365 Groups as task.

Or Intergrate Microsoft Planner to Tasks in Outlook 2016

Does anyone from Microsoft even look at these posts? lol

Is this actively being worked on? The iCalendar integration with Outlook is pretty useless and is in no way a solution to the problem. Please can someone from the Office team update the community on this long asked for feature?

These comments go back to 2016. Come on Microsoft.
You are dismantling a well honed set of tools in Outlook and giving us childlike versions with very little integration or customisability.
You've taken these out of the oven way too early!
Just have a look at Trello...that is basically what we all want Planner to do.
Integration with MS Office, especially Office 365 and Outlook is a definite must.
Also it would be very very very helpful if when adding a list to Planner it can be pasted form a list outside of Planner or from a table and it gets pasted as a list instead as one item of the list. This is already available in Trello as well, if anyone wants to see how it works and how invaluably convenient it is.
Please help...we need these basic features to turn this from another semi-useless product to a tool which enhances efficiency.
Tasks and appointments appear in all calendars: Outlook, Planner, and Teams
Planner seems useless without the tasks appearing in outlook, seems weird that this isn't a feature.
Fusionner Task et Planner
Merge Task and Planner
The interface of Task in Outlook is not terrible. And when we see the interface of Planner which is much more evolved, one wonders why are there two different places to manage tasks? It would be more logical to be able to handle all the spots in one place. And that in the manner of Planner we can display them in the calendar. And it would be interesting to be able to create spots from the calendar.
Add a Microsoft planner tab in the ribbon to add tasks to team members and link up to project communication.
Take tasks that are created in Teams on your team planner, and put the due date on the team calendar that is shown on outlook, too.
I don't like syncing up a Teams "Planner calendar" AND a Team Calendar in outlook for the same team. Just combine them.

Create an integration between Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Planner, where it is possible from an email, create an activity in Planner
Currently you can only assign tasks, but if assigned to someone else, the "assigner" can no longer edit the tasks, so if a task could be assigned to multiple people, everyone that's assigned to it could edit it.
It would be nice if the functionality of Planner was integrated into tasks.
Would love to have a button on the Outlook ribbon (Windows App or Browser based) that would ask you which plan you want to send the email to, and pre-fil the planner title, description, and attachments sections. Clicking submit would create the task, populate the fields, and upload the file attachments into the task.
Trello has a great OL integration that does just this already. Very handy.
Make OUTLOOK the essential tool in project planning but also works
Make OUTLOOK the essential tool in project planning but also works. Manage everything with OUTLOOK and make it essential
Periodicity of tasks and synchronization of tasks Planner - Outlook
The planner app should have the option of adding periodic spots as well as being integrated in the outlook calendar.
It's interesting how Asana can have a free add-on in Outlook to turn emails to tasks, but Planner does not. Isn't Planner and Outlook both made by Microsoft??
Flow is doing that.
Instead, we should ask removing tasks completely and being replaced with planner.
The new To Do is also a confounder in this space. MS has way too many products in this suite that basically do the same thing. Why should we have to decide what is the right tool to use in what situation, and the have to deal with the lack of integration. It would be better if there was one tool that did all these functions really well, instead of many tools that do bits of it differently.
Would be nice to include Teams as part of an Outlook workflow. Would make it easier for legacy users to adopt the services.
