Options to create or arrange tasks in sequence.
Ability to sequence tasks in one (or both) of 2 ways:
(1) Manually order tasks in a folder, and have that order be synchronized across clients (including when viewing the same list in the iOS Reminders app.
(2) Daisy-chain tasks such that the status of one is Deferred until 1 or more prerequisite tasks are completed.
(3) Create a column for Prioritizing tasks. Sub Tasks as well to tie all together.
Ability to show list in calendar view as well. Create column for this priority setting.
List should show in daily calendar when opened up and ability to create
Also, arrange task subject alphanumerically

I like the suggestions in the other comments I was going to type up similar ones, but no need they've been mentioned.

Please I am desperate for this to be added/returned to Outlook, I am lost without it, and I really don't want to use it outside outlook. This was a great feature in the legacy version. If I could afford Project for Home Use I would, but its FAR too expensive, and I don't need to all those features.

Prioritized Tasks (A-1, A-2..., B-1, B-2..., C-1, C-2...) instead of just by due dates.

Please allow an option to sort/arrange "Task Subject"s alphanumerically.
For instance if I have the following example tasks in today's list, please sort them as follows:
0 Don't forget to drop-off Billy, first thing!
1 Send that important fax as soon as you get in the office.
1.5 Congratulate Bill after fax is sent.
2 Call Lucy at some point in the day.
5 Grocery Shop (can be done whenever)
Laundry
Oil Change
Update e-mail password login.
Update wifi password.I like using numbers to set a level of urgency/priority (more than just high or low priority) for my tasks and a simple way to accomplish this is by putting a number in the Subject line before the actual task.

Would like to see an option to create task folders, on left side window in tasks, that pull tasks for a specific Category for that subfolder

In tasks it should be customisable. i.e allow people to add other columns/lists and allow them to title them something else, i.e I might want a list of call backs here or a list of companies to prospect. It creates a bigger space to plan the day! Why stop there...come on there are lots of things which can be don with this screen to make users life's easier. Greater customisation would be appreciated by all.

It's amazing to me that after so many years of development on Outlook there are still only High, Medium, Low as task priority options

I suggest the possibility of creating sub-tasks. Many tasks consist of several subtaks. it would be very valuable to the list as a task can be divided into multiple sub-tasks. the hours of the subtasken can then be added together.
Furthermore, I propose also to create more opportunities for prioritization. You only have 3 categories, many competitors have many more opportunities to organize tasks. -
