Change default calender
So many of us are dedicated users of Outlook for Windows... and also use a Win10 Mobile phone.
Problem: each device uses a different calendar: Office for Windows uses my default email ID, which is my domain email ID (not Exchange). The phone uses an Outlook.com email ID. To get a calendar item sent over to the phone, I have to manually copy all of my calendar items in Outlook for Windows over to the Outlook.com calendar under "My Calendars". Interoperability between the two platforms is difficult.
Solution: We need an option in Outlook for Windows to change the default calendar to the Outlook.com calendar - without having to change the default email ID. Exchange cannot be part of the solution, we are using Outlook.com as the intermediary between the two devices.

Now it is not possible to make one of my calendars that I sync with iCloud through iCloud Outlook add-in the Default calendar. This causes many appointments that I create in Outlook not to sync with iCloud (hence they do not appear on my Apple tablet/phone, or I cannot change/remove some the created appointments in Outlook anymore. When I try to do the latter, Outlook suggest to make a copy of the appointment in the Default calendar (which is in my main pst file which is not being synced), but changing or removing is no longer possible in any way.

If you have multiple calendar tabs set, you should be able to set the default calendar tab that is opened to the user. Currently, my calendar opens to my wife's calendar tab, not mine!! There's no way to move my calendar tab up or down. it's positioned in the first position (far left), yet, Outlook doesn't open to this tab!

Currently the search field only displays and searches only one calendar at a time and I have a couple in My Calendars & a Family calendar which I use simultaneously and have each one selected. It doesn't make sense NOT to default and search all selected requiring all the additional steps to do an advanced search. There's nothing advance about it.

We have many assistants / secretaries that manage their supervisor's calendar, but do not use their personal calendars at all in Outlook at work. They are requesting that the Team calendar for their supervisor become their default display calendar when they initially open Outlook. Currently they have to select to view the Team Calendar, and unselect their individual calendar to get the view that they prefer. This feature was available in Office 2010.

I keep a few calendars active in Overlay view. These include mine from multiple client Exchange servers plus a couple from other people who's schedules I want to monitor at all times. When shifting to the Calendar view, I don't know what logic Outlook uses to pick the calendar that is on "top" in the Overlay, but it's not good. It's definitely not based on the primary/default sending account in my Profile. In fact, it rarely selects either of my calendars. This means that if I start a New Appointment or New Meeting, that calendar entry produces a permission error or appears on the wrong calendar and (for a meeting) actually appears to come from the wrong person.
Please fix this by letting us select a default calendar to appear on top for the Overlay. Or just use the same default calendar for the Profile, just like Outlook uses for the To Do bar (but that would be improved by also allowing multiple calendars there, so really allowing us to select a default calendar would be best).

I have two Office 365 accounts. Unfortunately the one I use with my domain account is not the primary account so every time I go to Calendar I have to check the box to see the Calendar from the other account and then uncheck the default one (which is empty and I don't need them side by side)...

I LOVE emailing a calendar to show when available. BUT i want to set the default to ONLY send FREE. There is a lot of work that goes into removing all the other times that are not free.

When checking my calender, after receiving a new calender booking, the calender always opens on that specific day. Normaly I have my calender view in 7-days week. When opening a calender booking, my last calender view should be shown. Since im used to that 7-days view, I have problem to get the overview. Ofcourse I can always change the view, but that means one click extra, every time I check a booking.

Please reinstate the ability to stipulate default email addresses/accounts for Outlook within calendar invites. It's a hassle when the primary email isn't through Live and it requires toggling with every invitation.

In the "Calendar" under "My Calendars" there is a tick-box against each calendar. Could we have the same tick-box options in Contacts under "My Contacts" ?

Along the same lines the use of OneNote's ability to copy a meeting notice from an Outlook calendar needs to allow OneNote or Outlook to specify which calendar to use. I have 5 Office 365/Exchange accounts as a consultant and really need some help in choosing the correct calendar. This issue will only increase as O365 and Outlook.com are used within the same Outlook Profile.

I've always wondered why OL 2016 for Windows didn't allow you to change the calendar the event resides it as OutLook.com always has?
Please add that feature to OL 2016 for Windows.
Thanks!
