Touch mode email action buttons
I like the increased whitespace of the 'touch mode' even when I'm not on a touch computer. There is one annoying UI change in Outlook that happens when you go into touch mode. It moves the email action buttons (reply, delete, etc) to the right side in a vertical bar and removes any text labels. It would be great if the icons stayed where they are in the normal mode but are larger and have more whitespace. Much like the changes that happen on the ribbon.

I agree that when toggle into tablet mode in Windows 10 Office should transition to touch mode. And when you exit tablet mode it should revert to mouse mode

Windows 10 "Tablet mode" toggle should toggle the touch/mouse mode in Outlook (really all of Office 365 Pro Plus)

At the moment in touch mode, all the action buttons including delete are the other side of the screen to the message list. You can drag messages to the left to drop them into folders. Why not swipe them right to delete them?

Touch Mode makes it easier to use my touchscreen laptop, but for some reason "reply" "reply all" and "forward" were lumped into one button. Can we get them as separate buttons or an option to make one as the "favorite" (I'd pick "reply")? For now, I've turned off touch mode so I get "reply" back in quick access, but would love to have touch mode working again.

I do not use touch mode and was completely stuck when using a Win10 laptop with this enabled by default. I spent 1 full work day trying to fix the problem and restore my productivity. Please, *PLEASE* make it more obvious what this feature is and how to turn it off. Specifically:
* I 100% expect and require to be able to discover and disable this feature in the View ribbon, e.g. in the Layout section. Why isn't it there??
* This also isn't mentioned in the Reading Pane options, but I would have found it if it were there too.
* Why in the world can't I learn about this feature by hovering over the calendar reply buttons, or in some sort of ? icon in this new, counter-intuitive set of buttons?
* If I click on the large touch-sized buttons with a mouse the first time (or the 100th time), maybe that should be a clue that I'm unhappy and you should help me learn about the feature and disable it.* If I do a web search for Outlook calendar reply buttons in wrong place, I hope/expect that would lead me to a help article as well.
None of the above worked for me. :( :( :( I was fortunate to find someone who could tell me what was going on.

Using a Surface device with a Type Cover replying to an email with a hyperlink, should be to able to hold Ctrl and tap the link to open it. Shouldn't have to mess with clunky trackpads on a touch device!

Buttons like quick delete and flag on Outlook 2013, return this option in addition to providing two more (archive and pin). Just like the new Outlook.com emails

Pulling down on the list of messages with a finger should trigger a refresh of the folder/view ("Update folder" action). This would be consistent with other touch apps interaction models.

Double tap with pen should open appointment like the double tap touch does.
