Improve the "Manage rules and alerts" or there should be a rule like "Move after I read" the emails in Outlook 2016
The rules and alerts are powerful and very important in properly organizing Microsoft Outlook inbox. However it has been observed:
The User Interface is old. The dialog cannot be re-sized and managing many rules becomes tedious.
All the rules are not compatible between web version and desktop client even when the features are available on both. While not having some sounds or special events on the web version can be understandable, not being able to categorize the emails is annoying. It would be nice to have some "cleanup features" to review the rules. Also Creation of rules to automatic categorization events would be an added benefit.
We would love to see some improvements there like "Move after I read" emails in Outlook 2016.
Rule that forwards mails when you out of office should be on top of rule's list.
When you create new rule to incomming mails that move it to different folder by right mouse button -> create rule, then this rule will have default "stop proccesing more rules" option.
When you setting up rule to forward your mails from file -> auto - reply -> rules, mails that previously have been moved to different folder by rule will not be forwarded because has default option "stop processing more rules" and rule that forwards mails is default on the bottom of the rule's list.
I've set follow up with reminders on emails that i've sent to my supervisor for approval. Can we have a rule that once my supervisor approves or reply that email (before the reminder alert), i can remove the follow up / reminder alert? Because it's annoying if he has approved and the follow up alert still shows up.

I can currently create a rule for emails that come in, or go out. But I cannot create a rule for emails once read. I'd like to get project emails in my main inbox, and then once read it can auto file into an outlook folder.
An additional improvement would be autofiling / moving the email into the project folder 1 hour, or 1 day (some defined amount) after reading it. It would really help automate keeping the Inbox clean and organized.
Thank you for your consideration.
Apply the rule when resending a message on the client which has the rules Apply rule on messages I send, and Defer delivery by %s minutes in Outlook 2013.
One of the most valuable rules (Have server reply using 'template') does not exist in O365 online. The available rules and configuration options in O365 should be identical to those available in the desktop Outlook app.

the Rule dialog box does not have anyways to search the rules where sometimes could be hundreds. ones need to go thru a very long list of!
Start creating a new rule on messages I receive.
Check “with _selected properties_ of documents or forms”.
Click “_selected properties_” to bring up dialog.
Type an invalid field name under “Field”. (I used “Message Class”.)
Click Cancel (or just unfocus the dialog).
Dialog is dismissed (values are not set, entered text is discarded).
(In the case of unfocusing the dialog, no action on unfocus or refocus.)
New dialog with error: “The field you specified cannot be found.”
Delete all content of the field before canceling.

A new features for Signature for rules, for example if I have signature for each customer, instead of changing the signature, outlook can pick signature based on the TO address; If there are multiple domains an alert box to pick signatures will save sometime; Many users may be in hurry would send emails with incorrect signatures can be avoided, let me know your feedback of the feature

So that it makes it easier to locate a rule, the option to alphabetize rules in Outlook would be so helpful.
I'd appreciate if we could create rules for e-mails that are flagged as done.
For example, move every e-mail from sender "xyz.com" to folder "xyz" once I mark the e-mail as completed / done.

When receiving emails from the ISP server, have the rules created by the client run automatically to put them in the correct folder.
It seems every time I have to recreated the rule to have the emails go to the correct folder created in the inbox.

I should be able to keep my rules box open at all times so I can easily add an email address to it every time a new email comes in. Having to reopen the rules box every time I open a new email is so time consuming.
I know there's an 'auto bcc' button in some versions, but not in office 365 Pro Plus and sending about 100 emails with having to insert the same individual in bcc is quite a pain. Today there's only an auto cc rule that can be set up. So an auto BCC rule would be helpful.

Any email rule that forwards/responds to an email address outside of our organization should be automatically alerted or authenticated, both at time of creation and periodically.
There are emails that I would like to have printed to a printer other than my default, I currently don't see a way to set that up via rules.

Create a rule and either assign a flag for follow up or create a task. Example, every time I get an email from a certain person or contains a certain word or subject line, I can create a rule to assign a flag to follow up or create a task.
I archive all XYZ project related emails into the XYZ Project folder. However, I do need to read all XYZ project communication.
I could create a rule that all emails sent by Joe Doe with XYZ in the subject go to XYZ folder, then every time I get an email with such criteria, there would be a button next to the reply button that reads "Run Rules", when I press that button, email will be automatically archived in the right folder without me dragging the email.
When we create a rule using web, it appears on Mac and works properly (and vice versa) but it's not compatible with Outlook 365 windows. also, these rules don't work.
eventually, when you want to create a rule in outlook 365 windows instead of Mac or Web, it shows as a client side and local rule and doesn't apply on your emails.
Please design the rules about automatic sorting of outboxes.More and more mail is sent, but there is no good sending rule, which leads to the sending box chaos

Please allow user to import & export outlook rules to .xls, .xlsx or .csv file. This will allow user to have better and fast way to organize large number of rules.
Thank you very much.
