Search Folders should search Deleted items folder
Search Folders feature should search Delete folder. If Search Folders is designed to find all emails from and to a person, then there any many emails in the Delete folder that's from that person. If Search Folders doesn't search the Delete folder, then it's not working completely.

A FUNCTION TO CHOOSE WHEN YOU WISH TO PREVENT ITEMS IN DELETED FOLDER ALSO SHOWING IN SEARCH WILL BE NICE.
of course it is a bug : if you check "Deleted" items for searching and it not searching, it is a BUG... not a missing functionnality lol
Really need this basic functionnalité
Searches on "all outlook items" should include deleted items

When creating a search folder I would like a checkbox to include or exclude deleted mail.

Outlook really needs this. So many people think you can simply click the checkbox that allows deleted items to be searched, but it does not apply to Search Folders - I have checked this many times!
I personally think this is a bug so please fix.
Outlook has this feature. You need to turn it on. Simply click on File and select Options. Then select the Search section. There is a checkbox that will allow the Deleted Items folder to be included in search.

Alternative, may consider to open a setting option - to or not to search deleted folder.
I have hundreds of file folders after years of using Outlook for business. Scrolling through folders to find or file an email is a pain! I am using Standss QuickFile for Outlook, an excellent add-in. However, this is a function that should be integrated into Outlook. One button finds a folder. The Send button on an outgoing email asks where to file the email--even giving smart suggestions based on previous choices! If you are going to force an old fashioned folder tree on us, at least make it navigable.
