Could photos attached to an email appear as thumbnail versions of themselves and Option to increase thumbnail size
I cannot easily identify any particular photo when each appears on the email as a 'cloud' icon along with its identity no. Would it not be easier to see each as a thumbnail of itself?
Also, there should be an option to increase thumbnail size in Outlook please. I use outlook to review security snapshots and a larger image without the need to click on each attachment would be very useful.

The default size of the thumbnails that are attached to an email is too small. By having an adjustable size of the thumbnail then the user could set it to the size they are happy with. Thus they can see what's in the picture at a high enough to decide to open it fully or not. People (like Me) that use outlook to receive emails from security cameras have to open every picture just to see what's in it. This takes a long time..
I agree - I'd like to overview photo thumbnails before opening

When attaching an image file to a new message from OneDrive for Business, it would be helpful to have an option to view a thumbnail preview of image files in the Insert File menu.
this has been implemented, and is a terrible addition. please undo this. its slowing down the entire program. even just selecting an email while having the preview window open will make outlook spend 3-5 seconds rendering the images while being frozen the entire time
And before its suggested, TURNING OFF ATTACHMENT PREVIEWS in the TRUST CENTER does nothing to fix this.
this is a significant disruption to my workflow, the only work around i have is to stop using the reading pane all together, but i still have to deal with outlook freezing when opening the email to download the attachments anyway.
Please Please disable this. its had effectively broken out workflow. As of right now we are seeking alternatives.
With the change in Outlook 2016 to Attached files, the amount of real estate was increased to show an icon. For supported graphics files, gif, jpeg, png, a thumbnail should be generated and used instead of the icon. This would be very useful and also increase the usability and "friendliness" of the interface.
I agree that a icon of the pic would be most helpfull
