Enable to show Global Address List in contacts pane
OWA can show Address Lists of my organization under "Directory". It is better to find someone or some gruop across my contacts and my organization in a view. Please consider to integrate OWA feature and Outlook feature.

Please implement a feature to export the Global Address List in both Outlook client and Outlook on the web.

Such a shame this major problem hasn't been adressed yet.

We need the "Global Address List" to be searched when the People Tab in Outlook 365 is queried.
It causes so much confusion when people cant find employees in their "Contacts" . We are an 0365 customer and this is a must have.

My boss has asked me to look into getting this done, to have All Users visible in the Contacts list of the desktop version of Outlook just as if you use OWA. Please listen to your user community Microsoft, the desktop verison of Outlook should have All Users (Outlook directory) visible in your Contacts folder by default, not having to jump through technical hoops to get it done.

Makes no sense that this feature is in OWA but not in Outlook 2016 desktop version.

Company wants autocomplete to always pick from our corporate accounts first and not have autocomplete fill-in a last entered address as the first option.
Another item is a fitler or rule that allows us to have a pop-up along with a ribbon that this mail is going to an external sender @yahoo or @gmail

This post was created in January 2016, and 3 years and X months later, no response from Microsoft or any sort of update in this direction...

Use Global Address List (GAL) for outlook using IMAP or POP so that contacts list can now be saved with photos of contacts, backed up in case of data loss, export/import of list. already available in exchange why not Imap and pop email accounts local to outlook 365.

We have a client that would benefit greatly from this. We can't believe that the only alternative for shared client management, wherein you can search from the people pane, is public folders, which Microsoft do not even fully support anymore!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Causes so much headache. We have a Public Folder with contacts with the GAL mirrored in JUST FOR THIS!! Therefore we have to keep both copies updated. Ever try attaching a business card in an email message from the GAL.. !!

How to search contacts in Contacts-List seems to be removed from OUTLOOK? How can I search Contact List to find a particular contact and his contact numbers?

I use sharepoint contact lists in outlook and would like to specify which list a new contact belongs to. Supplier and Customer lists are then shared for a users.
